I am 25 and unlike many people my age, I don't feel that biological clock ticking. Many of my friends already have baby names picked out and they're not even married yet! Is there anyone out there that has ever felt like they just do not want children? Your life is never the same from the moment you get pregnant, so I was wondering how you knew that you were ready for such a huge step....or that you weren't. Those of you that do have children, do you ever miss how life was before them? Or does this mindset eventually change?

Who has felt that they were pregnant the moment it happened? I mean like the day, without any symptoms.

I've recently found out that women or young ladies sometimes abort their child using a coathanger. I can't believe it. How do they do it?. Sound very dangerous to me. Not that I'm going to do it, I'm just interested, so don't flame me.

My husband and I have been married for 2 years and my mother in law has always been fairly non interferring if somewhat opinionated. But now I am pregnant things have taken a turn. Im only turning 3 months next week and she is already telling me when 'WE' need to register for the baby gifts. She has bought me maternity clothes for my birthday next month when I had already said that I didnt need or want maternity clothes as my friend who is the same size and style as me has a ton for me. I could probably deal with all this but then she said to my husband she wanted to be in the delivery room with me! I am not particularly close to her so the thought of this makes me extremely uncomfortable. My mom lives far away in another state but I am very close to her and we talk every day and I feel like that my mother in law is trying to be my mom and this is just not sitting well with me. I know she is only trying to help and I really appreciate her support but I just feel so suffocated

My daughter is seven years old and the other day I found one of my tampon wrappers in the trash and the tampon stashed behind the toilette. Is it time for the talk? What should I say?

my husbands grandpa is dying so im trying to be nice to my in-laws till this all passes.we dont get along to well but im trying to be civil. anyways, we were at the hospital (me,my husband, his mom, his sister, her hubby and their 3 kids.). i was sitting in the waiting room breastfeeding my 3 month old daughter. i was fully covered. my shirt was covering everything but my babys eyes and nose. well my sister and mother in law come barging in and my sister in law starts bitching at me! she said that i need to put a blanket over what i was doing! i said my shirt was covering everything up! she said that it didnt matter i needed to cover more she had children so i needed to do a better job of hideing it! i said whatever and ignored her. this really pissed me off. SO WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS AND BREASTFEEDING?? i told my hubby and he said ok to her no longer being aloud around me and my child or allowing her in our home. :)

I am 21 years old with a 17 month old little girl who is my life. When I found out that I was pregnant the biological father dissappeared and told me he wanted nothing to do with us. That is fine...that is not the problem. I have met someone else who loves me and my daughter very much and now I am pregnant again. He wants to get married and legally adopt my daughter as his own. I have a very bad relationship with my family and they they are not going to take this news lightly. My boyfriend and I live together now with my daughter and things are great! However, because of what happened the first time around with child #1 I am sceptical of what will happen now. (Even though I KNOW for SURE he is not going to leave...doubt is stuck in the back of my stupid head.) Well, now the problem is...how do I tell my family? The other question is...would it be okay if my daughter grew up to know my boyfriend/fiance/future husband as her father and never tell her the biological truth? HELP!

Okay, so I have a really mean scary boss......I really do. and I'm scared to tell him that I'm quitting a couple weeks before the baby comes. I have a few months before this happens. I'm just not sure when or how I should tell him. I'm afraid he will tell me to just quit then (as soon as I tell him) So how much time should I give him?

She is 4 yrs old and in pre-k. There are some girls picking on her in her class. The teacher tells me that my daughter backs away and sometimes cries.

I don't know what advice I should give her. I'm thinking about telling her to stand up for herself and maybe it would put those mean girls in their place. But I don't want her to become a bully herself.

I asked my friends for advice regarding the matter and they tell me not to do anything that they are just kids. But I'm afraid that it would have repercussions in the future (I remember reading some freudian thing regarding childhood suppresed memories or something).

I want my daughter to grow up to be a strong confident woman. I don't want her to be a timid, weak person (I shutter to think of some ****** trying to control her, or worst yet beat her when she gets married).

What should I do guys? Should I take her to a child psychologist?

Any and all advice welcomed, thank you.

My husband grew up in a house where his mom made his bed, straightened his room, brought down his dirty laundry, folded it, and put it away, etc. basically he had no chores growing up. I on the other hand was responsible to bring my dirty clothes to the laundry, put them away when they were clean and folded, make my bed, clean my room as well as other household tasks like careing for the pets, dishes, etc. Now on to what we are debating about, we have three children 7 years, 3 years, and 5 months and I am a SAHM (have been for a little over a year) and I believe that our children should be able to make their own beds (obviously the seven year old by himself and the three year old with help), bring down their dirty laundry, put it away when it is done, straighten their rooms etc. My husband on the other hand thinks that I am "being just plain lazy" because I don't do it. I have enough things to take care of every day.
