Does everyone who gets a c-section end up with "cesarean-shelf"? Where the belly sort of hangs over the incision site? I have a friend who recently had a c-section and she is wondering what other post-cesarean mothers have expereinced. Is your scar noticeable? Have you had any lingering problems since the surgery?? Thanks.

Can you explain why babies with jaundice & problems with bilirubin levels are put under lights? My niece was born a few days ago very premature, but doing well except that she's 'under the lights' most of the time. How long do they do this for? Also --- the NICU uses a plastic sheet over her to keep her body temp more steady, how long does that last? She's 2 lbs 2 oz and her oxygen is good, and they say all signs are that she's doing very well all things considered... but just curious. Thanks!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and my fiance and I are discussing circumcision if we have a boy. He is dead set against it and I am all for it. Can anybody give me a list of pros and cons concerning cleaning and care of an uncircumcised penis? Preferably people who have had a boy and chosen not to circumcise him. All opinions are welcome however.

We don't know if we're having a boy or a girl, but its due in about 3 months. We've decided on a good boys name (Braiden), but can't decide on a girls name. We've thought of Avery or Ramsey. I like Riley, but that's my cousin's baby's name, so that's a no go. Please help us come up with some names that sound similar to those. Thanks!

They tell me that the baby needs to sleep on his back becuase of SIDS. My baby hates sleeping on his back and can never get comfortable. I have been putting him on his stomic in bed with me so that we can both get some sleep. I was just wondering at what age can I stop worring about the chance of SIDS? Hes only 4 weeks right now! I dont want him sleeping in the same bed as me forever but I want him to get a good nights sleep.

with both of my daughters, i could only breasfeed for about a month and then i dried up. When my oldest daughter was born, we were living with someone else and had no room of our own and i felt very shy about breasfeeding in front of everybody...so i kinda stood in the corner or snuck off somewhere but i dried up within a month. with my second daughter, i had my own place and i still dried up within a month. is there something wrong with me? i can kind of understand why with my first daughter since she was the first and i was very uncomfortable but with my second i was very comfortable....did i do something wrong or is this something that just happens because i am very dissappointed with my body and myself now.
