and how long does he/she sleep? My son typically goes to bed around 9 and then gets up at 5 or 6 for a bottle then will go back to be for another hour or 2. He is 4 1/2 months old and I know I'm lucky that he sleeps that long. I feel like his bedtime is late but I don't want to be up at 3 am with him either.

My mother-in-law wants to babysit our baby for a whole weekend. I'm breastfeeding and not sure how much milk I need to save up before I can let her babysit. I'm not even really sure how much he's supposed to eat a day since I just let him nurse until he's finished each time and have no idea (in ounces) how much he is eating each time.

My little girl is drooling so much that the back of her head gets wet with saliva. She put her whole fists in her mouth and knaws on them. She isn't eating as much in one feeding so I'm feeding her more frequently. And she was just crying and crying tonight for reasons I couldn't figure out. I tried to feel for ridges and I thought I felt some bumps butI don't know if it was perfectly smooth before so- I don't know what to compare it to.

Could she be teething? I thought it was too soon but, I think she may be.

My son is about 3 1/2 months now, and when we eat he's always mocking us, and it seems like he doesn't get as full as he use to off of the formula.. He's a big boy by the way.. So we're starting him on rice cereal.. I followed the directions on his first feeding, and he loved it.. Now my question is, how do we feed him after that, and about how much should we give him daily??

I know some will say go ask your Dr. but I just want another mother or father's opinion.. Thanks lots!!

I have a 2 month old son and it seems like he sleeps more on rainy days. He seems to be sleepier and to be taking more naps. Is this normal and will it effect how much he sleeps that night?

We need help! Suddenly this past week our son has decided he doesn't want to sleep at night and screams when we put him in his crib to sleep! Before this we would give him a bottle around 8 then do "jammies on" and sing a little song, change his diaper and he knew to settle down and we'd put him in his crib and he'd roll over and go to sleep with his sleepy time teddy. In the past 5 days he's suddenly decided he doesn't want to sleep in his crib and will
scream when we put him in there and continue to scream for about 30 minutes. If we go in and check him he will get very happy and want out then we will try to soothe him by patting him and sometimes picking him up - sometimes he will come back out with us for a bout 20 minutes, in which time he will fall asleep or rub his eyes and try to bury his head in our armpits or chests - then we'll try to gently return him to his crib and he'll wake up and we'll do this all over again.

Which diaper to you think is better regular Huggies or Huggies Surpreme. If I buy Huggies I always get the Surpreme, because I'm afraid the regular ones will leak.

my son benjamin (we orgianlly spell it benjamynn) is five months old. i'm new to this whole parenting stuff. should my son have teeth yet? it looks like he is starting to grow front teeth because he is always rubbing there and after he does he cries. you can kind of see the teeth starting to grow. should he be growing teeth already or should he have started growing them earlier?

I have a one month old daughter and we have successfully breast feeding until now. She has moved her feeding up to 3 to 4oz and I feel I don't make that much. I took her to the doctor and he said I should try half breastmilk and half formula but I don't want her to have formula. What should I do?
