She could be. It is a little early, but each baby is so different. My son had teeth at 3 months.

She probably is teething. It might be months and months before you actually see any teeth erupt through the gums, but it definately sounds like she's working on it. Try keeping a bib on her all the time, to absorb the drool and if she's crying, you can try giving her something to chew on like a teething ring or a wet washcloth that has been in the fridge for awhile. At 3 months she should be old enough for orajel also.

yes she probably is! my son was doing the same thing and my doc told me it was because his saliva glands were developing but a couple of days later his two little bottom teeth were visable and about to break the surface. Then the doc told me the reason why he was drooling so much was b/c he still had a no choking reflex and doesnt swallow or something

It sounds to me like she is teething. My son started teething at 3 months and had 8 teeth by the time he was 8 months.

My daughter will be 3 months old on Halloween, and she is doing the same thing. I think that they start the teething process pretty early.

It's earlier than average, but well in the normal range for teething. The symptoms sound like teething, that's for sure.

Not too early at all. My son got his first tooth at 3 months! I just froze some bananas and baby carrots, and let him suck on them to help the pain. Good luck!
