Let's say you have an 18 year old daughter who is a senior in high school. She gets good grades, is very trustworthy and you know she would never do anything to betray you. She comes to you and says she really needs to have a serious conversation with you. She discloses that there is a boy she wants you to meet. He's 19, is a sophomore in college, and is the ideal gentleman. But, she tells you that he lives in another state and she met him online. She tells you that a few weeks prior, he drove 8 hours and stayed with her and her sister's house without you knowing. And now, this boy wants to talk to you (your husband) to get permission to date your daughter. He will drive 3 hours from where he is working in a nearby city.

Would you agree to speak to him? How would you feel and why? Thanks.

Hi, me and a few buddies are wondering how much for it would cost to take a trip to Amsterdam for 7 days. Me and a few friends have been saving up most of the money we make, and are planning to go in 2 years, (grade 12).

Also, for weed in Amsterdam, do you need to be 18?

I have my own room, I guess, but I don't feel like it's my room. I have no privacy in the house and I was hoping that would be one room where I could have it. I don't get privacy when I'm going to the bathroom, my brothers have the door open till I finish and they walk away (pervs). If I'm taking a bath everyone suddenly has to pee or get something. My mom and brothers are always coming in my room bothering me and on top of that I can never have a moment to myself. I'm bout to go crazy. How do I keep my room a place to keep sane and to enjoy being alone?

i'm 16 years old and my boyfriend and i've been...active... We both feel that its a good idea for me to go on birth control just to be more safe. However my parents have no idea that this goes on and I have a feeling they would probably die if they found out we've been intimate. Me and about 6 or 7 of my friends are really close, were all girls. Okay so it weird for us to be in only our bras and underwear with each other. It all started a long time ago in April this year. Me and my friend started going out with him and his friend (her now current boyfriend) to get drunk! ..We would end up kissing and stuff but we have kinda got more intimate doing sexual things lately ..(yes we have even gone all the way but we aren’t going out!) I really like him enough to go out with him.. he makes me laugh as well as being gorgeous :P ..but he’s the one that wont go out with me because in September he joined army college, he has to stay there 3 years & can only come out on the occasional weekend. He said that he cant trust girls while hes in the army because most of them end up cheating and thats why he wont have a relationship. I wouldn’t cheat but I respect his wishes.. I treat him kindly and with respect yet he makes me look stupid all the time. He sees other girls, he knows I know he sees other girls but I can’t say anything to him because hes not my boyfriend. All I could do is stop seeing him but I cant!

alright so i am 15, and have been going out with my boyfriend for about eight months. we got along really well, but i was at a dance and we had a odd conversation. so we were talking i don't even remember about what and he just said that he has told people that he has had sex. now i know he hasn't, but this was kind of shocking. apparently he even told his mom... he said it made him sound cooler. i have never had sex, and as i said i know he hasn't. so does this mean anything? or should i not worry?

I'm moving away from home in February for university. I'm staying in a hall of residence, which is sort of like a dorm.

I'll be flying up there on my own and then meeting my Mum's friend and she'll be taking me my hall.

The afternoon we arrive there is an afternoon tea for parents and family members.

My Mum can't fly up with me because she's made it very clear she has other things she'd rather be doing.

I'm really scared and I'm sure all the other people will have their parents with them.

My best friend lives up there and I was wondering if it would be appropriate if I took him along as my 'parents and family'?

He already attends the University.

The girl I got pregnant is an ex-girlfriend from my junior year of high school. She stalked me and everything (long story). My mom had a court case against her for harassment, and now my mom and my sister have restraining orders against her. My ex that's pregnant is due in August of '08. I'm 18 and so is she. My mom and sister's restraining orders expire around like September or something like that. I'm in a college a little over an hour from my family and ex that's pregnant. My ex will be graduating from high school in May '08. She has told her family, but I'm having problems with my family currently. My parents are authoritarian, so that doesn't help at all. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you!

my 16 year old nephew is living with me while his parents move into their new house, and get settled. hes been with me about 3 weeks and hes been fine, yesterday he took off about 11am, and didnt come back until 3 or 4pm today. i was really worried and when he came home i got pretty mad. what should i do since he isnt my child, but i need to make sure he doesnt do this again? hes never done anything like this before.

okay friday night I went to the dance at my school
from 7 to 9

so after the dance a bunch of people were going to this place called after hours
I got permishion from my mom and tagged along with a friend!
after hours was from 9 till 11
I had a cell phone and I was supervised and there was other kids my age there (middle school)
only middle school
so do you think 11 is to late for a 7th grader to stay out till?

My dream: I was in art class with my friends who are all there, including a guy I talk to and consider a friend. He asked me how to draw hands so I held his hand for a minute and was all 'Woah, this is nice.' then I drew on his hand...
Then I was at a modelling go-see and the woman said I was a good model but would need my nose chopping off to get any proper jobs...I was watching ANTM the night before, so yeah...lol
