No, my parents never even believed in spanking as discipline so I was never touched in violent/abusive way.
However, I was physically abused by a boyfriend before- needless to say, I got out of that relationship rather quickly.

If you are being physically abused you need to tell an adult (a teacher, preacher, etc).

Yes. My father abused my mother for 3 years from 14-17 years old. At first he'd just smack her but then it involved into choking her, pulling her hair out, running her over with a car, punching and kicking her, attempted murder on her life in court to get custody of me. I've never seen him and I'm 20 now. My mother's first husband(She wasn't married to my father) who was my first stepfather physically, sexually and emotionally abused me. He'd smack me across the face, spank me, slammed me down onto my hands and knees on the floor when I was 13, backhanded me across the head. My mother's current husband(My 2nd stepfather) emotionally abused me from 14-19.

No...maybe a light smack on the butt here and there, but never, ever abused. If you are being abused seek help from a trusted adult. Get yourself into a safer environment.

No I haven't, I have been spanked a few times but I sure deserved it, but nothing other then a swat here and there.
If you are being abused seek help immediately. You don't deserve to be abused.
Good luck and God Bless!!!!!

Yes, it is the worst thing in the world to be betrayed by the ones who are supposed to protect you. I ended up in foster care and that was the best thing that has ever happened to me. If this is happening to you, know that you are not alone. Reach out to someone you can trust to get yourself out of that terrible situation. There is help. God bless and take care.

NO! My mother died when I was a baby and my daddy raised me. What a great man he was! I adored him; he was strict but never, ever abusive.

No I have not luckily. My boyfriend was when he was younger though, which actually resulted in him leaving home when he was 16.
I don't understand how anyone could ever do that.

When I was little, my dad used to hit my two older sisters and me a lot. He even used to hit my mom, but to this day she still denies it and never talks about it, even though she's still with him. (He doesn't do it anymore)
