Adolescent - March 2007

My 14 yo is driving me to a point Im scared.
He constantly lies to us.
He will not do his homework and we have offered to help him.
He shows no one in the house any respect.
Hes gotten used to lieing so much its become natural to him.
He will not help around the house.
He is always mad about something or depressed about something.
The only answer he gives us as to why he acts this way is "I Dont Know".
We have grounded him from stuff but it doesnt work he doesnt care.
We take stuff and privlages from him but he doesnt care.
I feel it would benefit him to see a doctor because he shows no interest in anything but his friends and video gameing. And he wants to hurt ppl.
I dont want to hurt him. but he is getting to big for his britches Im afraid of wut I will do when he gets in my face again and its the wrong timing.
I threaten I yell and none of this works I talk calmly that dont work its like he doesnt want to be here. The way he walks around here youd think he on drugs, but hes not.

how do you know a guy likes you? i'm not all that pretty (like at all, i got glasses and zits and a little chunky). but there's this boy i like. he's not very popular, tall and lanky, plays the trombone. but very outgoing. we';re friends, and he always chooses to be next to me and puts me on his team (when we're playing sports with the other teenagers). and all, but how do i know if he likes me. please don't be sarcastic or say "just ask him". i'm 15 and he's almost `15, but he looks 16. we have another frien Liz, the 3 of us are a trio. once she just came up to me and said "this is one of those weird and wacky questions i ask sometimes, but if david asked you out would you go with him?" and after i answered (with a maybe, cause i didn't really want to tell her, the only ones that know i like him are my sibs). she just walked away. a clue? he doesn't tease me, and he always nice and respectable and holds the door open and smiles alot. i really like him, but how do i know if he likes me

Okay I went out with this guy..he said he really liked me and we didn't have sex right away..and I found out that he was cheating..for sure. I wanted to forgive him so we got in touch about three months later.So eventually we had protected sex...and I thought ..WHAT am I doing. So after he said I was the only one..ofcourse he was lying..I thought well I already have had him so why not lie..to him....and use him for sex..because honestly I was done with him do to the trust issue...so last time I saw him I ran him up to his bedroom and wanted sex from him.I said I am the perfect women I don't want supper, I don't want you to say you like me..I said"you are my booty call"and I just want the sex..He laid back in bed and was quiet..and said it was akward me just showing up for sex. Honest engine I just want him for sex..no commitment, but he has totally blown me off. So I think he thinks I am fooling around on him which I am,he is cute and has money..he is loaded. i have 6 questions, which are troubleing me , it may sound funny or me being stupid but these are really important for me


1 for how long should organsm beafter mastrubation ?(it may sound funny but i heardthat for pigs it stays 4 1 hr so wat about normal people)
2 is it possible that we may miss our periods because of mastrubation ?

asking for $300 for her birthday to spend on herself. She never says these things to him when they talk on the phone and he isn't "allowed" to see her (not a criminal thing, just her mom, but that is a complete other story in itself). She will be fifteen next week, I would have personally never dreamed of asking (then or now) any one for that amount of money for my birthday. He thinks that his ex put her up to it (rumor has it they may be losing their house and truck). I think that we could solve this by getting her a savings bond for $100-$150 for her birthday, that way A)her mom can't touch it and B)she will be able to spend it on herself, just not right away. That way we could "fix" who ever the money grubber (for lack of better words) is. We don't spend that amount on our other kids, I don't think he should be guilted into doing it for her (I am not against him buying her things, so please don't think I am the evil step-mom). What do you think, any other ideas? What would you do?

My daughter is nearly 17 and has had a steady boyfriend for two years. Over Christmas she asked me if she could go on the birth control pill. I took her to a doctor who prescribed her 3 months worth. My daughter has come back to me saying that she forgets to take the pill everyday. I am wondering if anybody out there has had the same problem and has found another sort of contraception more suitable. Let me say that I am pleased that she came to me and acted responsibly and am not looking for moral answers just something to help. Thank you

I am 15 and havent really had too many jobs before except for helping out with little kids at a bday party. I need to get some substantial money... for lunch, cloths, airplane ticket, etc.
What are some good job ideas? Maybe other than baby sitting? (I can't really stand kids, but I LOVE animals!) What are some good jobs involving animals?

Your child is the schools biggest bully and constanly verbally, physically and emotionally bullies children at whatever school they are in.

Your child bullies one other child in particular, constantly and without mercy throughout the other childs school life. The child is prevented from moving to other schools by legal red tape.

The school is legally prevented from intervening but informs you of the situation, you take no action.

One year after 'middle school' graduation the bullied child commits suicide by stepping in frount of a bus, this also kills two others and hurts 30 more.

My sixteen year old daughter just called me. She's been missing for two weeks. She runs away all the time to live on the streets, do drugs and carry on without rules to protect her. I've done all that I can think of to do to help her, including foster homes, residential treatment centers, etc. Now she's apologizing and wants to come home. She stole her six year old brother's life savings before she ran this time, and took a fifteen year old girl with her. She convinced her to run away with her by telling her that her stepdad hits her- which he doesn't do- and then got that girl into a very dangerous situation in which she was harmed. My daughter didn't mention what happened to her friend except to say that she "wussed out" and is acting like it's no big deal. I did not tell her I knew about it. My daughter has been in therapy since she was four, but it hasn't helped. She's cold. She's going to be here in the morning to talk, and I don't know what to do. My family's scared of her.

Once when I was 15 I had just got out of the shower and i saw the mailman drive up. I had been expecting a package so when he drove away I went out to get it. I was still naked I lived in a semi closed in area so I was not worrie dabout someone seeing me naked. I had dropped the towl and I had no covering. I got the mail and when back to the house and I was locked out. Horrifeid I immeditly went out back and hid under the deck for over three hours till my mom came home and I got back in. In the end I learned the back door had been open the whole time!!! Has anyone else ever got locked out naked?
