What time would you enforce your kid to be in bed by on a school night?

Would you allow him to stay up until 5 AM on the computer on a school night?

Im 15, and I think it is ok to stay up until 3:30 in the morning to talk with friends. You see, I have the week off. Anyway, my mother says it is not normal and that I am insane (Which is really hurtful, mind you.) Is there any evidence proving to the contrary of her statement? Or... Not... Whatever works. :)

I know my question is quite unusual, but i dont know if i think differently from the others or its jus realy normal. Cos i have a 17 year old friend who is a boy and he said that he and his dad take a shower together after swimming and gym practice. He says he doesn't mind being seen naked even though he is already 17. I just really find it akward that a parent will see the developments in your body. Cos im a 17 too and I really didnt want anyone in my family to see me naked since i was 11. Am i the only one who thinks it akward? or is it really normal for fathers to see their teenage boys completely undressed?

Okay, I like the area I live in because there is this hot boy, but I know he'll never like me, but I still like seeing him at church. If I wait 2 more years, I can go to highschool with him. He'll prolly have a gf by then. Or, I can move to another place 2 hours away, where my mom will build a new {totally larger} house with a swimming pool and everything. [way larger]. If I move, I can get a fresh start. Possible popularity and new friends and everything accept I wont see this boy anymore. I won't really miss this house too much. Should I move, or stay. Give reasons please. :]]

My 16 yo son is in big trouble at our house (his primary residence) b/c he told his 5 yo sis to call me the worst swear word you can call a woman (begins with c)! Now he wants to live with his dad who is never home - no supervision! About 2 months ago, my 16 yo was in big trouble with his dad & didn't want to visit him at his house. Of course, we made him visit his dad as we had arranged. My son plays me & his dad against each other to his advantage. We're having a big family meeting tomorrow nite - my son, his dad, me, also my hubby, the step-dad. I'm concerned my son is going in a wrong path. What should we do? Any serious suggestions are greatly appreciated!

For some reason, I sometimes find my self liking guys who drink, smoke, do drugs, and skip school. If I went out with one, would MY reputation be at risk or anything? I'm not sure if it's a good idea but I'd like to. Besides, I never run into good guys that I'm interested in. Please help!

After six hours of TAKS testing, I finally saw my friend who I used to like.

Erin.

I was excited to see her, since I was so alone in the testing room with about ten others, about six I didn't know.

When I came into math class to give her a hug (yeah, I always hug her, and she's like the only person who hugs me), she told me the best news in my life.

She broke up with her boyfriend, the meanest person on the face of this God's Earth.

Upon hearing this, I went to the back of the room and silently cheered. I was so amazed that I now had another chance with her!

So here's the play summary: Big meanie strikes out, and at bat is "Z" Roberson. Two outs, bases loaded, count is 0-0.

The pitch is thrown...

Should I take the hit and ask her out or play it safe by not hitting (that is, asking her out).

Me and most of my friends are going to the same junior high next year. We are invited to the dances there already. At the last dance she was nagging us about how we were dancing. She told us that we need to shake our butts some more. When we went to sit down because we were tired, she told us: "I don't care if we don't look cool right now." I said to myself "is popularity that important?" All she was doing was shaking her a**. Now she's bearly even hanging out with us. Is all of this stupid? If I tell that I think it is, then she will say that i'm not cool. . .

My step-daughter (lives with her dad and me full time) has asked to stay at a condo on the beach for spring break. There will be no adults there. Step-daughter is almost 18 and the two cousins she will be with will be 18 and 19 (all girls). Her mom has said she will pay if we let her go. Problem is there will no doubt be drinking and step-daughter has already admitted to her cousin that her boyfriend will be going down there with her. (and that her mom knows this) I personally dont think she should stay. And it's not like we are far from the beach. She can drive there in 15 mins so she could still go down there during the day. What would you do and say in this situation?

I let my 9 year old daughter go to a sleepover at her best friends house whom I trust alot like she was my own. At around 3 in the morning her mother woke up and found her daughter on top of mine pretending to do things to one another (clothes on), they both admitted to us that this started by askin questions such as " have you ever did it before" and these questions escalated into what was previously metioned earlier...now I can't look my daughter in the eye...cause Im in shock, for now all I told her was that I am very upset and I will talk to her later about this because I don't know how to address it just yet...is this a normal part of growing up, and what could I possibly say to her? sensible answers only...
