I wouldn't do anything. That is just words to me. You know what you are and what you ain't. Just brush it off. If it keeps going on. Then get a little nasty and rude. But don't fight with them.

Realize that this person has some reason to dislike you OR she or he heard a really bad story about you from someone else. Then realize that you can't control the world and what is said about you or how other people feel about you. Then relax. Be yourself.
If you do act like a dirty slut, then realize that this is what gets circulated about you. If you don't act like one, then there are plenty of people who can see the plain truth and think just as highly of you even if someone makes a remark like that.
Relax.

as an older person (34) i can promise you a few things. 1. not everybody will like you, and i am sure you are a likeable person. in life you will have a very close group of people that will really matter to you. focus on them and in essence say "screw you" to all the others that bring negativity yor way. 2. people will talk about you behind your back. this will continue your entire life, its just now you really realize it more. wait until you work full time (if you havent already begun that). people are nasty like that, not all people- there are a few good ones out there.
3. it is not a bad thing to enjoy sex. if you do, congratulations- you are with the other 2.3 billion people on this planet that enjoy it too. you have hormones and so do the people that called you that name. i GUARANTEE they are just as into sex as you are . when i was younger that sort of thing bothered me, now i can care less what others think about me. you will to when you realize others do not make your decisions for you- you do.

Just ignore them they are just jealous of you.
I had this problem for years. All because the 'popular' girls at school were jealous because all the boys liked me and not them. I thought it was hysterical cause I wasnt even intrested in boys, I prefered having debates and playing footy with them.
And again when I went to Tafe, my so called 'friend' spread it around because a boy she liked, liked me and not her.
So its all a case of jealousy. Just ignore it, because they get more upset if you dont react.

maybe you should ask yourself why they called you that.
maybe they are jealous of you, or maybe you like to sleep around. there is a reason for everything. if you are a dirty slut....stop being one. if someone is jealous of you..let them be, if you're not a slut, you know you are not, and your friends know that. who cares about what other people think of you.

Pretend they called someone else that word since you don't know if they were exactly talking about you in the first place.

You could ask them why they would say that but be prepared for more backlashing, it's probably better to ignore them Anyone that knows you would never listen to them anyways and the ones that do are just not worth your time.

Ignore it, unless there's some truth to it. Then you should examine yourself to see if you want to change some of the things you are doing that make people say such a thing.
