I didn't have my son in high school but I had him when I was 19. He literally saved my life. I was doing drugs and drinking from the time I woke up until I passed out at night. I went completely wild after high school. When I found out I was pregnant I stopped doing everything and straightened up. I guess my answer would be that I don't regret being a teenage parent at all. I wish the first couple of years of my son's life hadn't been so difficult for him because we were so poor. I also wish he had a father who actually cared. Other than that I could never regret having him when I did.

There shouldn't be any regrets on giving life to a child. No matter what age you are. My mom had her first child at 15 yrs old, she is now 50 and has 4 kids (Well, were not kids but I mean, you know)including me, my father had his first child at 19, now has 8 kids (you know)Including me. And is now 44.
True story is I don't know 4 of my brothers from my dad's side and the other 4 I have last seen when I was like 6 or 7 years old.
But my mom, very strong woman at 15 years old she lived with her husband, which is like a grandpa to me, hes 75, but he was 38 when he married my mom, and even if they are divorced, he really helped my mom even if she had 2 children at the age of 20.
he would go to work and bring food home. They werent very rich back then, and when I was born, my mom already had 3 kids, so it was tough for her to have money to feed all of us, so she had to kick out of the house the 2 older ones. Leaving me and my brother him 5 and me... 0.1 years old. And we were poor, we ate only rice and beans...
Now, My mom is a millionaire, living the sweet life. And all of this, because she met a man that would give her a child when she was 15 yrs old.

i would honestly say that the only thing i regretted was not being able to provide as well as my babies deserved at that time.i had 2 by the age of 17 and of course i was not any where near financially prepared for just the cost of feeding them or clothing them not saying anything of the medical bills.but fortunately there are programs and special people out there who can and will help.it's mostly a matter of the maturity of the parents but, i will say,if you can hold off on conceiving until you are more able to provide for a family no matter how small..it will be worth it
