Pregnancy & Parenting - 31 December 2007

I am currently on the pill the biggest problems is that I sometimes forget to take it at the exact same time (maybe 5-10 min. late) now I don't do you know what very often or anything, so I guess that why I don't worry about it sometimes but I know that theres always a chance I can get pregnant.
anyways I use to be on the depo shot which was great because I didn't have to worry bout getting prego the problem was that I was gaining so much weight with every shot. I'm thinking of switching to a diffrent method.

so I just wanna know what birthcontrols you woman are useing, your side effects, and experience

Do some girls kill their unwanted babies, when there are so many women out there trying desperately to have a baby? Can someone please explain that to me???

I have about 3 or 4 married friends who have been trying so long to get pregnant....why do the ones who really want a baby have such a hard time getting pregnant, and the ones who don't want babies get pregnant so easily???

I have very irregular periods. But I am very good at charting my fertility. I have 5 other children using the natural method. But as I have gotten older it has become harder for me to conceive. My husband and I are currently ttc #6. I had very clear, stretchy egg white mucus the week before Christmas. We had intercourse quite often during this time. I have never had a problem conceiving, but was just wondering your advice on when I should take a HPT. The first day of my last period was on November 25th. The month before that I started on October 20th. If I were pregnant now I would be around 4.5 weeks possibly. Any help would be great!

I am just over 13 weeks with my second baby and the midwife couldn't find a heartbeat during a routine visit. She reassured me this was not uncommon and it could just be too early....but I am worried. anyone else had this experience? Thanks

I took a test yesterday with evening urine actually and it came out a dark positive...then a few minutes later I took another one because I was in shock and it came out a lighter positive...then a few minutes later I took anotehr one and it came out a lighter positive. were they getting lighter probably because I was taking them all within one hr and kept peeing which made my hcg not able to store right? I just kept taking them because I couldn't believe my eyes!!!!But al 3 lines are very visible, the first I took within the hour is the best though. Does this sound normal?

Car Seat Description:

-To get to the third row seat, you have to fold down the second row seat closest to the door.

Typically I will just have myself and the kids in the car, so I want things to be as easy as possible for loading and unloading the kids. However, there will also be times where I will need to room for 2 other adult passengers. (Both with bad knees who may have problems climbing over seats to get to the third row.)

I have a 2 1/2 year old and don't know a ton about children's behavior but my best friend's son is 4, about to turn 5 in February, and just seems to have such bratty behavior at times. I'm trying to be understanding but it's just a little too much I think. I never acted like this out in public but the past two times he's been to my house, he has told me or my husband things like "Get out of here!" over and over or "I'll spank you if you don't get out of here!" "I'm staying here, you go in the other room" "Don't watch me eat!" "I don't like that smell and I can't eat!". I know kids are kids but I never dare said that to my mom's friends when I was a kid. Is this really bratty behavior or just typical for kids this age to say to anyone?

On my way to work I had to stop and get gas. While I was standing there I had a slow leak of fluid. I tried to stop it as if I were peeing but it kept coming. It finally stopped and then done it again about a minute later. It wasn't like a gush of water or anything and I don't think it was pee. When I got to work I went to the bathroom and it was enough fluid to have my jeans completely wet in the crotch area. I am being induced on in 3 more days. Should I call my doctor to see if my water has broken? I haven't had any other signs of labor.

I have been told by my doctor that the treatment will cost about £4500 (IVF and ICSI) as my partner has a low sperm count but was told that we will have to pay for it ourselves. However I thought you got the first attempt free and know of others who have done so, my doctors answer was that I am too young, I'm 32. Is it really a post code lottery? We have already paid out £2000 for a vasectomy reversal which was a sucess but no luck getting pregnant due to a low sperm count. Any suggestions anyone.

Last night I was showing my mother in law my big tummy and was saying how excited I was that I had no stretch marks. She then told me that they wouldn't appear until after I had the baby. I didn't get any with my first pregnancy so I don't know if she is right or if I am right. I thought that if I was going to have them, I would already be seeing them. Anyone know?

PS- I have 3 more days until the big day!!!!!
