She is 4 y.o and I am 15 y.o but she won't listen to me. Anytime I ask her to do something she says she doesn't have to listen to me. It's only been happening for the last month. What can I do?

I have two sisters. This does not change.
Just love her lots and send a message that whatever she does your there for her.
If she isn't listening and it is a circumstance where harm may come to her then it is time for your parents to get involved
Good luck big brother

monitor your tone of voice and ask her in an encouraging way to do something... like. come on, ____, let's go do ____.
you have to ask like you're interested in her, and not like the boss... It's hard to learn, but I'm a parent and had to learn this with my own child... once you learn, it's golden, really

Not a lot. She is beginning to exercise independance. You can try to instill some respect by demonstrating that what you say is good and brings her good results.

Don't ask anything unreasonable. Have her participate in what you want, that way she gets something and so do you.

give her a positive reward.....it doesn't have to be monetary, sometimes a kid just wants your time and attention....when she doesn't do what you ask, ignore her....it'll drive her crazy.

lol, there is nothing you can do, you are her sister!! i have a 3 yr old and her 15 yr old sister has absolutely no control over her whatsoever, some days they get along great, other days, they argue all the time. just keep in mind that you are 15 and she is only 4, there is a huge age gap, she doesn't want to reason with you and certainly won't be told what to do by you. just try your best to ignore the behaviour, the more you antagonise her, the more she will try to play you. she is only doing what she does because she knows it's going to get a reaction

Tell her that if she doesn't listen then Santa will take back all her presents! He's still watching and if children are mean and rude then he will take back all their presents! It works on my brother and he is 3! Good luck!

Be polite. Try not to be bossy. Give her rewards (candy, small toys, etc.). Try talking to your parents about it. Maybe they can talk to her about it.
