Just when you did something bad. Do you think it made you a better person now as an adult? Do you think it was the best thing for you at the time? Other than what those soft parents did, No offense to anyone who's parents didn't really discipline them.

I just got my blood work back and my hcg level is 75 so it places me at 2 weeks along. My last period was Oct 13th so I don't get it. I thought it would be a bigger number. It does say that non pregnant women have an hcg level of 5 or less. So I am pregnant but the numbers just are not jiving with me.

I am starting to worry that I will not have everything I need when this baby comes. I have all the obvious things; crib, stroller, carseat and clothes and his cute winter outfit but I was just wanting to stock up while I am still pregnant and able to go out shopping in a whim. I was thinking about stocking up with some diapers, how many of each size should I purchase? What other things did you you moms wish you would have purchased before your baby was born but didn't think of it until after they were born? Thank you!

OK something has got up my nose and I need to moan and get opinions. We are moving to be near family soon. A few months ago I left my freezer in my father-in-laws garage for storage and his girlfriend "lent" it to her daughter to use, which was fine. I now need it back and have been told it "might get broken if they bring it back" and the girlfriend is going to replace it for me for xmas. Apparently its going to be a joint xmas pressie for me, my partner and my six month old baby. Now the reason im annoyed is twofold: 1- she should replace it anyway and not as a xmas pressie and 2- why would a 6 month old baby want a freezer as a xmas pressie! I s not about what I get as a gift but more out of principle, she took freezer, she should replace it! This woman drives me mad!! Am I unreasonable? I know its not really a big deal on the scale of things but I'm annoyed

I am now 10 days late and have slight cramping and nausea but this is very different to number 1. Do I test or could my periods be messed up. My son is 8 months old. Periods did return to normal for the last 5 months.

The first test was clearly a positive result. Both lines were very clear (1 for negative, 2 lines for positive). The next morning I took the same kind of test, and I think it was negative. The first line was very clear, the second, indicating pregnancy, was barely visible.

Okay, I dont know what im having yet. Won't find out until Im 22 weeks on December 4th, its the big day!

Well for a girl, I have decided to name her Harlem... reason being, I used to babysit a little girl with that name and I thought it was the ugliest name a person could have, but it somehow grew on me. Then my mother liked it and so does my niece so i said fine, Harlem it is for a girl.

For a boy, I have decided on Kingston. I love that name, dont know why, yet when i first heard it, i thought it too was ugly.

But I need a middle name for both.

Harlem.....

Kingston....

If you still have fertile CM a day after Ovulation can you still have intercourse and get pregnant then? or does that mean that you didn't ovulate when you thought you did? and maybe it is actually your ovulation day CM you are getting.

I love the names Eleanor and Beatrice, with the nn's Elly and Bea. BUT I've heard soooo many commets saying "it's an old lady name" which bewilders me. Why do people not expect their children to become "old ladies" with classy names, do they expect them to stay young forever? Grandma Eleanor sounds better then Grandma Mckenna IMO.

What would be the worst name to give to your child?

A friend of mine just has an Asian baby boy. I suggested naming him "Latoya", with the middle name "Jackson".

What other terrible names are there to give to your child (Male, Female, Based on Ethnicity, etc.)?

Imagine Latoya going through school with that name. That would be hilarious and very unethical.

How may ultrasounds did you have during pregnancy? Were they just routine?

With my first child, I only had 1 unltrasound @ 18 weeks. I am 7 weeks pregnant with my second and already had an ultrasound @ 5 weeks. I was just wondering how many ultrasounds is the norm.

My wife and I are expecting our first child sometime around Christmas, and I have a question regarding a baby and a cat. We have a long-haired cat about 2-3 years old.

We're concerned about the cat jumping in the crib and craddle - whether the baby is in their or not. What can be done to prevent this?

We'd like to avoid having cat hair in the crib and keep the cat out of the crib. Any advice? I've heard there's a baby net/canopy that can be hung above. Anyone use this? Is it recommended? What other idea's have you used?

Is any one as tired as I am about the profanity and vulger questions on here? Has any one reported any one else? I have and will continue to do it. I have taken 3 hpt tests in the last week, and they are all positive. i took the first one on Sunday night and it was a very faint +, the second one yesterday afternoon and it was darker and then again last night with my husband and it was dark as well. My AF was due on 11/11 and the last time i had it was 10/13-10/18. I am not that late, so it would very early on in the preg. i see the doc on Friday, but has anyone ever had a false positive?
