had a miscarriage in september 2006 is it true that some women experience nausea and headaches months after and your body is getting its hormones back to the way they used too? im still suffering nausea i was so sick the last few months my aunt said it was due to hormones is it true

I've read that the government advice (UK) is that a baby should be in the parent's room for the first 6 months.
Why is this advised? Is it to do with preventing cot death?
And how essential is it follow this advice? My husband and I have a very small room with not much room for a crib in there, whereas we have a proper nursery for the baby. Should I have my baby in my room for the first 6 months?

My daughter is two years old and likes to pack her book bag with different items from different places. She carries the bookbag everywhere. It takes her a very long time to pack her bag so that we can leave the house. She won't go in the stores with out the bag and it is driving me crazy. She takes strange things to bed with her example (calculator). I think my child has insecurity issues but I don't know why. I love my daughter very much and I want her to feel secure and comfortable, but it is a lot of work in getting her to leave the house or anywhere with out that bookbag. I have tried to give her one item to have all the time (teddy bear) but she prefers to have a variety of things to carry. Help me to understand my daughter.

i am 20 days late. my period had to start on 15th dec but didnt come. i usually have a regular periods with 30 to 33 days cycle. was sick with typhoid on 21st. i m not pregnant bcos i had an scanning done. my doc said she could see harmonal imbalance. my doubt is that should i wait for sometime or go to another doc. my husband and i have been ttc for over 7 months now. no other healthy complaint. had an abortion 5 and half years ago but no complications or particular pains when i m on my periods. i used birth control pills and he sometimes used condoms. can there be something wrong with me. my husband smokes 2 cigarettes daily. i had an abortion cause we cld not just feed the child. thanks in advance

I am raising my son to not see a difference in anyone such as a race. He has always played with all kids that are of different races. Well when he started going to Kindergarten other kids had to point it out to him that so and so is black. I cannot stand this. My son always said kid now if the kid is black he will say black well really he says brown.

I know he is 5 years old but he says he has a girlfriend (you know how that it) and she is black but he says she is brown and kids pick on him cause he likes this little girl. I see no problem in black and white but why don't other parents teach their kids that we are all the same?

I have read some stuff and ppl are saying they have a easier pregnancy when there pregnant with a boy, I have had no morning sickness but I feel tired all the time and in the start of the pregnancy I felt uckie and pukie all the time but never threw up and have bad toothaches which I never had before I got pregnant and dizzy spells but thats really about it could this mean boy? everyone says im having an easy time with this pregnancy.

My son will be one on Saturday and tonight he just started throwing up and I'm wondering is it possible because he and my niece were running around? But, they always run around and he hasn't ate or drank anything that he never ate or drank before. He does have a cold and he's starting to get over that I am wondering if maybe that is the cause. I know you all are not doctors. But, he finally went to sleep and he isn't crying nor is he clinging to me not to let him go and he isn't running a fever but I just wonder if I should be concerned? I'm going to call his doctor first thing in the morning.

I’ve been delayed for almost 2 weeks now but we’ve had 3 home pregnancy tests already and all gave us the same results NEGATIVE. 1st was on my second day of missed period, 2nd on the 5th day and 3rd was on my eighth day of missed period. Is it possible that I’m pregnant or something’s wrong within me? I never get delayed. My menstruation just resumed 2 months ago because I was exclusively breast feeding my son for 8 months. I was laid off so my wife still has her career and I have taken over the role of being up all night with the 8 week old, the feedings, fussing, crying, most of the night and then my 14 month old gets up rearing to go at 6:00 am and I am wiped out. I do it all day long then when the wife comes home in the PM I usually drop from exhaustion, any ways to improve my attitude when tired? or any ideas from experience will also help, Thank you!
