My son will be one on Saturday and tonight he just started throwing up and I'm wondering is it possible because he and my niece were running around? But, they always run around and he hasn't ate or drank anything that he never ate or drank before. He does have a cold and he's starting to get over that I am wondering if maybe that is the cause. I know you all are not doctors. But, he finally went to sleep and he isn't crying nor is he clinging to me not to let him go and he isn't running a fever but I just wonder if I should be concerned? I'm going to call his doctor first thing in the morning.

he could have just had an upset tummy. plus its a good thing he threw up if he has germs. just like sneezing its the bodys way of getting rid of crap that gets u sick. just keep an eye on him and call the doc in the morning. he will be fine.

If this stays the only incident of him throwing up for the evening then it is a possibility. If he wakes up and starts to vomit again then more than likely he has a virus. If this is the case small amounts of liquid to keep him hydrated 2 oz at a time and remember red pedialite vomitted on the floor is red stain go for the more clear colors. Good Luck and I hope it was a one time thing and he wakes up fine in the morning.

Calling the doctor is the best option. I would venture to say that if he is just getting over a cold maybe he worked himself up too much. He may have gotten some phlem that got him choked up and he just vomitted. If there is no fever or anythign I wouldnt worry too much. Probably just got too excited and shuldnt have just after bein sick.

as long as hes not running a fever I wouldn't worry to much. call the dr in the morning to be on the safe side.
