ok so my son is colicy we got that part here is the other part he cries every night if mommy isn't holding him. Does anyone else have this problem? My husband can't even hold him because all he will do is scream. Tonight I had to work and my mom and my husband watched him and he cried for the both of them for 4 hours. When I am home at night he does a normal colic cry which is getting better no longer from 6pm-11pm now it is only from 9-11pm but it is an of and on cry for me but anyone else it is a straight cry and nothing but standing and pacing the floor with him works. Anyone have any ideas to help dad watch him while I am gone? Thanks please only serious answers.

2 am and my son brings in 2 16 yr old friends drunk. They were walking to our house to see my son, and called him. my son was 2 blocks away and went with his friend to get them and bring them home because my son is concerned about their well being about being shot or picked up from the police. My son lost a dear friend a while ago and he did not want anything to happen to them.
My thing is, I called one of the boys moms and let her know her son was here wasted, she couldn't pick him up and will in the morn. The other one, I did not have the number...was I in the right doing this? I feel I was....see my son is very concerned about his friends and don't want to lose anymore...he has lost a few last year.
I also questioned him and his friend about them drinking. I am unsure he was, although he smelled somewhat, but he knows that I do not tolerate liers, he told me he didn't.
How should I handle this in the morning? He wants me to let him deal with it...should I??

Ok, I have one child, who is 3 years old. I knew immediately after I concieved with him that I was pregnant.
Recently, my husband and I decided that I should go on birth control and wait till he's out of school to concieve again. I am on my second pack of Orthotricyclen lo and have been on it in the past, but never experienced what I am going through now. For the past 2 weeks I have had pre-menstrual (only a little worse)-like breast tenderness. I feel bloaty. I'm always tired and I'm MOODY. Two days ago, I thought I had started my period and it was 4 days early. I have not missed a pill, so it wasnt breakthrough bleeding... just some spotting. I had a little spotting yesterday and today as well, but nothing like a period. Tonight, I noticed that my breast felt moist when I took my bra off, and figured out I was lactating just a tad- from both breasts!. 4 HPG's over the last 2 days proved negative. What the hecks goin on here?

I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and for the past 3+ days I have barely been able to eat anything - nauseous, vomiting if I do attempt to eat. Which was onset by some stress, and I'm trying to take it easy, but it isn't the type of stress that can be ignored or goes away quickly. I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy to the point of hospitalization) in the beginning of my pregnancy, but haven't had any of it's symptoms since I hit my 5 month mark. I'm mainly concerned because I know just my prenatal vitamins alone aren't enough to suffice for the nutrients that I and the baby need. I have only gained about 8 pounds so far in my pregnancy, and the doctor wasn't so concerned with the numbers factor since everything with the baby is checking out fine. The reason I am posting here and not at my doctor's already is that I am out of state for the holidays and won't return to my home for almost another week. Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do?

On behalf of one of my very close friend, I want your help. These days, he seems to be much tensed as he had an intercourse with his girlfriend without condom. He is confused that there might be a drop or two of sperms which transferred at her vagina during the intercourse.

Can you please help him by letting know, if it is possible that her girlfriend gets pregnant just because of this one time intercourse? How much chances are there to gets pregnant and what are the methods to stop it?

starting at 6 1/2 wks. when i found out that i was pg. i began throwing up.i have tried a few things and been to the hos. a few times,they gave me finnergan which sometimes worked...but now im 3 1/2 mths. and still sicker thatn a dog...can someone give me some advice please..oh yeah crackers or bread is horrible:)ty

My brother has been throwing up alot lately and I am worried cause first of all , I dont know what is the mater with him and second of all I am afaird that it may mess up the enamel of his teeth cause we learned in a class that when you throw up acid in your stomach or something ruins the enamel. Is that the same for babies?

My 16-year-old son is quite handsome and is constantly pursued by girls of various ages and backgrounds...even ones with boyfriends! He is pretty casual about it (he's in love with someone in Hawaii, he says!)...but the attention these girls give is getting on my nerves (frantic, constant phone calls, unannounced visits, multiple invitations to parties, etc., and petty fighting between them - over him - in school!).

He says it doesn't bother him but am I allowed to have it bother ME? I'm flattered that he's so popular and takes it in stride, but, aside from it bugging me that the phone rings 20+ times a day, I just feel like these girls' parents should know what they're up to (so they'll back off a bit).

My kid (and even we, his parents) gets interrogated by fathers and mothers (to a lesser extent) every time he goes to a girls' house, yet who is minding the GIRLS' behavior? Nobody, it seems? Should I let their parents know or will this all die down in time? I'm at my wits' end!

My best friend has a sister whom is extremely aggressive towards her children. I can tell you stories and stories of the things she has done to her kids but I will only tell you a few.

Last year her 6 year old son ran away from the house yes I said 6. The cops were called and he was thankfully found safe and unharmed. The next day I went over to see if he was ok, I went in the room with my friend and her sister. Her son (I’ll use an alias name) John went into the room and asked if he could go out side with his brother and sisters she said “no because of what you did yesterday” he then said “I only did it because you don’t love me” and her response to that was “so what, I don’t love you”…

You know how some women get that jelly fat that loose skin in the stomach area after having a baby my mother has it still and shes 47 and I am pregnant with my first and am blessed with my mothers genes to grow large and have strech marks covering not only my belly but butt thighs and everywhere else, now the strech marks im not to worried about its the jelly fat that im afraid of, that i can never wear some of my clothes again, and i see some friends who got rid of theirs completly without a tummy tuck and then i see my friends who no matter what diet or exercise still have them... and i dont want to consider plastic surgery but maybe someone out there knows how to get rid of it without getting a tummy tuck
