I was refered to the child study team for my three year old daughter the neurologist labeled her with pdd she has a speech problem and doesn't play with other children and throws tantrums and does a lot of thing repetativly....and some other stuff but anyway i have a meeting with the child study team and i don't know how these meeting go if any one could let me know i don't want to go into this meeting with out having any knowledge of what is to happen.

I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I've been having contractions. Not really strong ones, but enough to make me very uncomfortable. I know everyone will tell me to go to the hospital, but I seriously can't afford to run to the hospital every time something happens. I've been diagnosed with an incompetent cervix, and had a cerclage put in at 19 weeks. If they don't stop in an hour or so I will go to the hospital, but I'd really like to take care of this without another huge bill! Anyone know any home remedies for stopping contractions?

Was there a style maternity pant that fit better than the others after giving birth?

This is my first, and while my thighs put on some weight, the bulk of it seems to be in my boobs and baby belly... So iam assuming its going to take a while to get back into my pre-pregnancy pants...

How long did it take you other first moms?

I've put on 42 lbs and am at 37 weeks.

Im not sure if I am pregnant yet. I really dont want to be. But here is the story. We were ******* and a little bit of the tip of the condom went off the head of his dick. and he always pulls out of me before he cums because I ran out of my birth control and my car broke down so i could go out to get any more. Anyways I was scared that maybe the condom being a little off it would cause it to rip.so I blew the condom up the most it could go.and there was no hole.thank god. I am still kind of worried cause i just started a nursing career and dont want to be pregnant just yet. But I am very tired lately. But i am also stressing myself. So could that cause the tiredness.and it is only 4 days after I had sex. But do you think I am pregnant. Yes or No. PLEASE JUST SAY YES OR NO!!!thanks so much for your help.

im dating this kid and i really like him like 1-10 i like him like a 9 hes just my type but there is 1 thing when i started goin out with him his X wanted 2 fight me & i said a guy is not worth fightn over & all this **** and all but n e ways we r friends now i guess but a while back when me and my boifriend just started goin out the girl said that he cheeted on me with her. but the thing is alot of pple told me that she did but then alot of pple told me that she was just jelous. but i kinda belive her. i asked him about it and he said i was being dumb and not to ask him bout it anymore. but i REALLY like him. and it didnt change how much i did. but last night i was hangin out with him and he had his arms around another girl. i went up 2 him and i said um.. u need 2 keep ur hands 2 ur self! and i pushed him. i felt like i was goin 2 cry but then again he was REALLY high but anyways we hung out 2day and we had a good time so idk wut 2 do oh & he said he that he thought that grl was me.

Any mothers out there who has a son with this condition? My son was diagnosed with it. Our family physician told us to put him on hormones or give him surgery. I don't want to do any of that. I want to leave him the way he is, but I'm sure it will not be good for him in the future.

My daughter has been doing very well during hte day not wetting her pants. at night she still soaks her pull up, she doesnt even wake up to go to the potty. Since she has been going back and forth between my house and her dads house she has been wetting herself during the day. Could there be something wrong?

My husband and I have decided to try to have a baby. We're both really excited. We've been trying for two weeks now. However, I just stopped taking the birth control pill and I've heard that you're very fertile right away and may ovulate within just a few days. Does this mean that I can test before I miss my period?

I have been feeling light-headed and nauseated for a few days now. We're both hoping that's a good sign, but we're dying to test and find out for sure. A test last night was negative, but that doesn't surprise me. Still 10 days from my period, if my cycle remains normal.

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Okay so I understand the whole months thing. But it's when we start getting into the T's that confuses me. My daughter is 17 mos and 23 lbs- she is wearing ALL kinds of sizes. She still wears some 12 months, 18 months fit very well, some 24 months, 1 t's, and 2 t's. So what are the "T's" related to in months? Is a 1t supposed to be a 12 months?

every since i had my daughter, who is now 2, i have had vaginal leakage. my doctor thought it was a yeast infection and prescribed medicine and it didnt work. the liquid is kind of thick but not pastey thick and has no odor. has anyone else had this? sorry to be so graphic but i really need to know

When conflicts occur take a step back & watch how you react. Our first impluse is to use authority, to exert control, to nip the fights in the bud. But honestly this doesn't teach children to work out their own differences, instead it teaches them to be totally dependant upon us to resolve their problems, and this dependance is taken into adulthood. Another reaction is to yell at them, "Stop Fighting!!" Rather than listening to see what their real needs are.
To sit back, in laziness is a pitfall in modern day family life. This laziness is the bored irritation that causes someone to yell without listening to attain the required information to help them solve their problems together. Rather than getting dragged into fights with our children,
stop, and mindfully listen, yes listen attentively!
It may be that some bickering gives them the chance to negotiate, and to work things out on thier own. It is o.k. to feel a little irritated.
Our children can teach us Patience & Love !!

I was just at someone's house and my son (3) just start wrestling with the boy there (4) and he's being pretty gentle and smiling at the same time, you know, no bad intentions. And everyone's like "no, no, no wrestling, be gentle, get off of him." I mean I remember we would be killin' each other in the other room and our Moms would just check in on us every now and then. We didn't have adults on our backs the whole time dictating our every move. Sometimes a kid would get hurt, crying the mom would give him a kiss and say stop crying and go back and play. Now it seems at this rate we are going to raise a bunch of sissies! What do you think? How do you remember it being during your childhood. Is rolling around with other children for fun wrong now a days!?
