walking a lot....just walk walk walk...or sex....the doctor told me that those were the 2 best ways to do it. My husband and i were weary of having sex, but the doctor said that it would be just fine....so we finally did because i wanted this baby out of me!!! And i went into labor 23 hours after...lol good luck!

I had my son 3 months ago and it was a very painful labour until they suggested I go into the hottub. I stayed in the tub for 1 hour and not only did it ease some of the pain, it also broke my water (85% of waters are actually broken by the doctor) and once the water broke, I dialted more quickly than before. I had my son in my arms within 2 hours of getting out of the hottub. Hope this helps.

I had an unassisted birth, so when I went into labor and got back pains, I kept walking and walking, and sat ran a hot shower down my back, and sat in the warm tub to ease the pain. No medications. I gave some pushes and my baby boy was here!

How would the penis hurt the baby? The penis is pretty soft compared to a skull, assuming the baby were right there, which it probably isn't if you are having sex.
The best thing you can do to ensure a fast labour though is to ensure optimal fetal positioning through exercise, good posture and visiting a chiropractor trained in prenatal care.

you could try walking around...that usually helps position the baby and move it further down. also you could try sex, only if your in early labor not active. a hot shower or sitting in your bath tub jacuzzi under 90 degrees helps. you could try sitting on a birthing ball and rocking back and forth from side to side with your legs open. the swaying motion also helps push the baby down and position it properly.
good luck

bouncing on a birthing ball helps too.
I walked around Wal mart for 9 hours the night before i went into labor with my first child. I felt 3 contractions and he was here.
(i went to the hosptal when i lost my plug i was 8 1/2 cm and 98% when i got there they broke my water i felt one contraction and wanted to push two and a half to three pushes later he was here)

Have as much sex as you can. And no the penis will not hurt the baby. Just don't too rough.

well, if you are already in labor and you want to speed it along....do exactly what the nurses and doctors tell you to do first off....get up as much as they allow you to, and as much as you feel comfortable to. Gravity is there to help you along, try to sit up or at least lay at an incline....breathing exercises should help you relax and also calm you down as well as help the time pass...good luck....
