She just came in to contact with her dad a year and a half ago and now they are very close and wants his last name added on to her last name. She wants it to be hyphenated. Just wondering how much it will cost.

Maybe we stay at home moms like to stay at home. We chose to. If a mom works then that is fine as well but why bash someone else's lifestyle? That is like sitting back and talking about someones sexual preference.

I think if you are jealous of other peoples lifestyles you should just bite your tounge and go on with your life.

I asked wether or not it was legal to have sex with a 16 year old boy at 13 and I even said "I do not care wether or not you think I should wait" and people STILL posted crap on why I should wait and telling me what to do and crap and telling me what my decision should be. They don't know him or me!! Doesn't that get on your nerves?

when I was in high school, we did a project called "baby think it over". The project was for about 2 days and it was to lower the risk of teen pregnancies. we got to choose any realistic baby dolls of all ethnic backgrounds and a key was attached to our wrist. If we cut out the key, we would fail. Then we had to take the baby with us everywhere we went and we slept with it too. Everytime the baby cries, we would stick the key on the doll's back and leave it there until it was finished feeding. At the end of the project, there is a machine that totals how many times you abandoned it and how many times it's been fed.
**Did you guys have to do this project for school or know someone who has?

My bf, his 2 year old daughter and I were going to have dinner w/ friends and their kids tonight. They just called a couple of hours ago and their kids are sick. So, now we will be at home, just the 3 of us. Can you guys give me any quick, last minute good ideas of how we can make dinner special, or something fun we can do w/ the 2 y/o (she goes to bed at 9--we know what to do after that....lol)? Thanks in advance for all your thoughts!!

This may sound awkward but it has become quite an devasting situation for me. Whenever I was at a public pool or public bathroom my son and I would get stares. The first couple of times I didn't think much of it. I thought maybe people were looking at us because they didn't feel confortable seeing my son bottomless in public. I told my sister-in-law that I was getting these awkward stares and said to her that our town is full of prudes. It's a 3 year old boy for crying out loud. My sister-in-law then gave me some alarming news. She told me that it's probably not due to him being bottomless or naked but probably because of his genitalia. I said what about his genitalia. My sister-in-law who has 2 boys of her own told me that it's probably because Kyle's (my son) penis is smaller than usual. I have never had a child before nor have I seen another toddler's genitalia but still I don't get it? I do admit it doesn't really look like he has much of a penis but still he's a 3 year old boy. I don't get why that can be getting stares? It's not like he's 30 years old. Ever since my sister-in-law told me this I have been embarassed to change my son or let him run around naked anywhere, even at home. I have not consulted my husband with this situation as I'm sure it'd be uncomfortable for him. Am I just being neurotic or should I take him to the doctor and see if he actually has some sort of medical condition? Any mother's out there with advice or similar experiences please help me feel confortable with my son again.

Our little boy was given a tea set at Christmas and we are starting to wonder if this is a good thing for a little boy to have? The person who gave the gift said it is to help him learn about how to hold cups and to pour etc but it is worrying!

I mean doing the dishes and occasionally watching your kids in between soaps doesnt see to be such hard work to me.
I really cant the ones who get a new suv just for popping out another baby, wow, it must be nice to earn a living by spreading your legs and mooching off someone else.

hello all, just an enquiry rather than an actual question as to what labour was like for the mothers whom have just given birth , i am waiting paitently in hope that i give birth natrually ..im getting a hard stomach but when i go to the hospital im told im not in labour or to come back when my waters have broken. the problem is i am worried that the same situation as my first labour will occur where they had to break my waters as this is my second pregnancy , i would also say that i do not remember too much about my first pregnancy since it was 5 years ago and even then i do not remember having strong contractions. the problem i am facing at the moment is i do not think they are reading my notes that and the fact i am being ferried from person to person only once being seen by my acctual consultant and many a time by apprentices whom are new to paitents, am i being paranoid or am i right to complain?

They're both old traditional irish names. I know they're strange but my family has roots in Ireland, and it's important that I choose a traditional name, so if you don't like either (which is extremely possible) please give me an old irish name with pronunciation.
The first is ISEULT (ee-solt)
The second in GRÁINNE (grawn-yah)

when I was 4 years old I went with my mom to the hospital so she could get some paperwork done, and then when I was walking through the hallway of the building, I wasn't watching and I accidently bumped my head into a pregnant lady's stomach really hard and she wasn't looking either. She said "Oh I'm so sorry" and she left. My mom yelled at me and made me feel guilty about it all the way home!
Up until now I still feel guilty about it even though my mom should have been watching me when I walked into the pregnant lady. I hope I didn't cause any damage to the baby. How do I get over it? This was a long time ago and I'm an adult now.
