I would think that every parent comes to this point. Stress from parenthood just keeps building up and without a little alone time to relax it'll just keep building. Lucky for me I got a week away from my husband and my two oldest boys when I had to attend a wedding two states away. I brought my six month old with because I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle not having anyone aside from my sister and some distant relatives around. As much as you want your two weeks away from it all...if you ever get you'll be wishing you weren't. I missed my kids before we were even out of the state. And I talked to them every night while I was gone. That's when you realize you don't know what you would do if you didn't have something to do constantly - a diaper to change, laundry to fold, dinner to make, pets to feed. Take it all away and you're left with not much of anything. If you want you're alone time start small. One or two days will do wonders and you don't even have to leave. Ask grandparents and your spouse to help. They'll understand.

Absolutely! And when you feel this way, you should reach out to family or friends to help. You deserve a break; child-rearing is a double-overtime job.
(you can multiply that by each child) I have 3 under the age of 5; that means I work 24 hours a day and then some!

I have had that feeling before-usually when I am upset at my hubby or need a break from constant mommyhood-but the feeling does not last for maybe more then a day and I get over whatever I was mad about in the first place.

Oh yeah. Your not alone. I'm so stressed out here that I could just run away. Its really hard with kids but you just have to go on. Try to take some time for yourself.
