When you both pass the legal adult age, 4 years is nothing. When you're talking about a 19 year old and a 15 year old, there tends to be issues with that. Not only is there a legality issue, but the 19 year old is probably graduated and the 15 year old is what, a freshman? I know some girls are mature for their age at 15, but boys at 15, and 19 for that matter tend to be less so. If the guy is the older of the two in this couple, there's likely a comparable maturity level, but that doesn't mean that she should be seriously involved at this point in their lives.

Can you two wait just a little longer? There are only 3 more years to go for the 15 year old. Depending on which state you in, 18 in most places is considered an adult.
No, the age diff. is not much. But stay within the law. If you want to get married, this is not a big age gap. Guessing 15 y.o. is a girl, don't get her preggo. You will be really up the s.h.i.t creek without a paddle.

yes because the 15 year old is underage. It may only be 4 years but at right now that difference is too big, emotionally, physically, and mentally. Besides the 15 year old's parents would be pissed.
Why don't you get someone your own age?

It depends, as someone said, how mature each one is. Particularly between younger males and older females, the gap can be MUCH bigger, since females mature more quickly emotionally (in general). A 19 year old male and 15 year old female would have less of a problem with differences, maybe, but at that age, there would still be BIG differences in maturity, experience and the way you both look at the world. People don't realize how FAST the teen mind grows!

I never told on my 22 year old girlfriend when I was 15 But Dumb Boys these days just can't keep there mouth shut...
If She's 15 and your 19 If you get caught its 8months Min in most states now. Ands Max in Texas is 5 years for 10min's of Love...

I have a scale of age difference that always worked for me & my friends.
Under-18 : 3 years Difference
18-25 : 5 years Difference
25-35 : 10 years Difference
35-Over : No more than 20 years Difference

No. But 19 year aged human is more matured mentally, socially and physically. Most of the 15 year olds are virgins but 19 year olds are mostly non-virgins.
The main difference is 19 year olds are called adults and are at the brink of quitting teenage.

yup. If she is 15 and he is 19...it is a felony. For some reason, society looks the other way when the male is the youth.
