How long does it take to travel down the fallopian tube to the widest part for fertilization to take place?

It takes approx 8-10 days to go down the tube and implant. Usually just a few days before your period would be expected you may spot a little with "implantation bleeding." Good luck!

An egg is fertilized as soon as the first sperm gets inside of the egg.

Takes 7-10 days for the egg to travel, and implant into the uterus... I think thats what you wanted to know...
