last night my almost 2 year old was up until 4:00 this morning screaming her head off and pulling at her ears. i already made her an appointment for today but i was just wondering if maybe her ears hurt or if she could be cutting her 2yr old molars. i put my finger in her mouth to feel if she was cutting any teeth in back and i didnt feel anything. she did start pulling at her ears until after i gave her a bath which makes me wonder if she got water in her ear. this morning she was fine when i took her to daycare but she was still kinda putting her hands and hovering them over her ears. anyone know whats going on? i cant take another night like that, lol.

He turned 13 months on Dec. 24th. He can hold onto things and walk and stand up, but if he lets go he can't even stand. When will he start walking or at least standing on his own?

She's not running a fever or coughing. She's just all stuffed up and the nasal aspirator won't work. I feel so bad for her not being able to breathe!

These two children do not even get along. They are constantly calling their mother (my coworker) at work over the smallest fights. I'm talking about 15 to 20 calls a day, maybe even more than that. My coworker has told me she can't handle her kids when they are together. Why does she leave them alone at home while she works? Should a situation like this be reported to child protective services, or would that just be stupid? It seems to me that these two children could end up burning down the house, or seriously harming each other.

I'm in a sticky situation... I have a 19 month old and everytime we go to visit my relatives within a week he is sick (usually an ear infection). One of my relatives smokes (not inside the house when we are there) but I know that it is still in the air. They also have a lot of animals inside the house and I know that it is probably an issue as well.

My problem is I do not know how to address it because I know that it is going to offend them if I tell them that he gets sick everytime we visit. They only live an hour away so they expect us to visit a lot and I don't know what do to. I have cut back our visits to about once a month or every other month. I have been keeping track with our visits and when he gets sick and it seems like there is a connection.

Do I address it or just ride it out? If I address it all hell is going to break loose. But at the same time I am the one who has to stay up with him when he is sick and I am the one who has to take time off from work.

I Habe been Having ALOT of contractions at night and I time them. They get about 8 mins apart. Usually they say Braxton Hicks will stop if you change positions or Drink Water, but these stay consitant for sometimes hours at a time only thing is by morning NOTHING has happened! For the past month the baby has been head down and in position...Im feeling a TON of pressure on my bottom area and my bowels are looser than usual. I go about 3 times a day! (Sorry if that is TMI Just Had to share) and I feel SORE around my vagina area. I have also been having SHARP pains in my groin area they last for a few mins and then leave. MY breast are leaking like crazy and Im just wondering is all this signs I could be having a baby sooner than later? I am scheduled for my 4th ultrasound in a week because the Dr. says im measuring large for dates? Just Some Friendly feedback would ease my mind! Thanks alot!!!

I'm pregnant and without revealing my due date, can you guess from this picture how far along I am? I'm asking because some people say that my belly isn't the right size for my due date.

Why do people smoke in a closed area with children or kids under 18? maybe smoking should be treated like any other drug and start handing out fines and jail time even if driving while smoking. cant drink and drive, cant use a cell phone and drive. so why not smoking?

I was cleaning up in my son's private bathroom the other day when he came into his room with his friend. I stayed out of sight and I couldn't see them but they were just hanging out. They wrestled around a little bit it sounded like, and then it got quiet for a minute. Then his friend said, "Hey dog, you wanna smoke my pole?" To which my son responded, "Not now dude, my dad is home and I don't want him to find out." The way my son sounded makes me very concerned.

My sister in law is trying to get pregnant with her new husband. He has a kid that is 6 years old from a previous marriage. They've been having trouble conceiving and a recent test found that he is the problem.... less than 17% of his sperm are active or healthy. (I don't know the details). How likely is it that he was able to conceive a child 6 years ago?

My daughter will turn three in March and later in the fall, I wanted to register her for ballet. Will she be too young to understand?
The three year old class only meets four times a month for fourty dollars a month and the parents can't sit in the class room and watch. (I'm guessing so it doesn't distract the little dancers, but they do have recitals for the parents to see)
Do you or would you pay this money? If you do take your young toddler to ballet class, is it worth it?
My daughter loves to watch all the Barbie movies and is always dancing around the house. I just don't think four days out of 30/31 will teach her much. What do you think?

im 35 weeks pregnant and sometimes when the baby moves it hurts like stretching pains did in the beginning on the sides of my stomach. is this normal? also, sometimes i have pains in my vagina that feel like contractions but i know their not contractions because it only happens when the baby moves. could the pains be the baby moving down into the birth canal? this is my second child.
