I haven't had any antibiotics in over a year.
I have 2 children already that weren't conceived on bc pills. I'm I'm pregnant this would be the first for me. I've been on bc pills for 8 yrs with no problems. I did take a break 6 yrs ago to have my daughter and then started taking them again after I had her.

4 of my children are unplanned "pill babies".I took Orthocyclen (sp?) -baby 1 and some other brands with the other three.I never missed any pills and took them at the same time everyday. The doctor just awarded me with being too fertile because he could never determine why these 99 % percent effective products didn't work with my body.I finally decided to get my "shoelaces tied" after the fifth.

I did, and that was 24 yrs ago, my gynocoligist was insistant that I had to have missed some pills, which I did not, but back then they didn't know that if you took antibiotics, you would need to use an alternate means of birth control, which is what I believe happened. If by chance you have had to take any antibiotics, recently, you may have become pregnant on the pill. Just some insight as to how, if you are pregnant it could have happened.

I was 18. I was on the pill. Religious about taking the pill. Never missed a pill. Was not on any meds or anything.
I was in a car accident. I had X-rays. I don't know if it was the accident or the X-rays, but I had a miscarriage. I didn't even know I was pregnant, so I wasn't very far along. I looked at my calendar, and sure enough, I had missed a period, but I was so busy with work and college, that I hadn't even noticed.

Yes definately! I know of lots of woman/girls who have gotten pregnant while being on the pill. It is not 100% effective and not only that, but missing just ONE pill could result in the pill being near uneffective and landing you with the baby bump :0)) Best wishes!

sure, its very conceivable. however the 1st couple months, you will sense unwell. Its in basic terms the pill kicking in, a great type of females have made the blunders of thinking they have been pregnant. yet its prob a risk. It takes a minimum of three months till now the pill definitely works. so as meaning you need to be prengant. yet ya, visit the docs, take a attempt. stable success & terrific needs!

Yep I was 17 I had been on them for almost 2 years. I took them religously and still got blessed with my daughter. To this day 8 years later I'm not sure why they didn't work.

My friend did. She missed one pill by 4 hours. It was tough because she was only 16 but she and her baby are happy and healthy.

sure did...although to get pregnant while "on the pill" you have to sure that they were being taken correctly...which I'm not. I was 17 and would've sworn then that I was taking them correctly. Now 7 years later, I'm not so sure.
