Well, I'm not sure what your question was but it's basically b/c they are....
They either can't accept other people's opinions, they are purposely trying to get a rise out of others, or they just honestly have lived under a rock most of their lives. Sometimes, it takes a simple-minded person to see the truth, but sometimes, simple-minded people need to open up and take a big look at REALITY!!!

Well, some peolpe have not been raised to be open minded and good thinkers. Maybe not enough good schooling or maybe they are just a little slower then the rest. Low IQ, a different point of view, there are many factors. If it is just one person you know maybe the two of you just don't see things the same way. It happens we all see that.

If it is specific to the original question, I would need to know what you asked to give you a decent answer. In general though, in a public message forum (which is what answers actually is) you have to ignore all the chaff to get to the nuggets of wisdom. Some people just post to be annoying you know.

It's human nature to be cruel and direspectful to other people, mostly becuase they lack personality and sense. Don't take it personal and ignore all those simple-minded morons, they cannot help themselves. Too much time on their hands!

maybe because some people ask such stupid questions all the time. I don't think it's being simple minded, but more IRRITATED by it is all.
