There is no medicine that you can take that late in the pregnancy. If you took abortion medicine the baby would die inside you, but would be too large for your body to eject naturally. As a result, part of it may or may not be ejected but the remaining tissue would actually rot inside your womb, causing extreme illness and quite possibly your death, especially if you're not near a doctor.

Some doctors will do an abortion that late, but really, you've come this far -- it'll be better for your health to simply wait it out and then give the baby up for adoption. The child is nearly old enough to survive outside of you already, with proper care -- why kill it now?

Bottom line is, you've waited too long. There are no longer very many choices other than to have the child.

you cannot take any medicines to abort at 16 weeks. the procedure is as follows -hoping that it's available at your place and is lot safer than routine D&C. it's little painful and similar to delivery.you will need hospital setting, and a doctor.
dinoprostone gel is inserted into cervix, followed by vaginal insertion of 2 tablets of misoprostol 200 micrograms every 3 hours till you abort. you will need a check curetage after you abort. total time taken approximately 24 hours. fever is a constant side effect. pain is considerable. there may be bleeding and vomiting in few cases. all side effects are over the moment the procedure is over. few blood tests may be needed before you start the procedure. there are almost no failures. however if there's a failure (no abortion after about say 33-36 hours) you may need hysterotomy which an operation just like caesarian. i'm not trying to scare you. the procedure is very safe, and the risks per population are very less. good luck.

This is not a question for the trying to conceive board. You know how hard some people have to try to conceive and be where you are? Very very hard. I've waited 10 years to be pregnant and haven't yet. Having a baby to me would be a blessing, if it's not for you try adoption and then get on some birth control and use condoms. Good luck.

give it up for adoption! Please don't try to kill the baby.If you don't want to people to know you are pregnant, try to hide it, just say you packed on a few pounds, no big deal.When you go into labor,go to the E.R. and give birth to the baby in the hospital, tell the doctors and nurses that you do not want the baby and they will make some calls and give the baby to a family that wants it and can care for it.It is your best bet here.Please do what is right!God bless you!

you really shouldnt have waited till 4 months. thats cruel. your baby is already a little girl or boy and is perfectly formed. youll have to go to a doctor. but i dont know about the plhillippines but here in south africa it is illegal to abort after 3 months unless there is a risk to the mother.

If you're 4 months pregnant... you can't just take a pill to get rid of the baby. You'll have to have a DNC (scraping the uterine walls to remove the dead tissues-baby). If your sure you don't want this baby... see your doctor fast!!!!

Go to a doctor! It is too dangerous to attempt on your own at this stage and the doctor may not even be able to do anything safely...if you don;t want the child, put him/her up for adoption..there are people everywhere that want to adopt babies.
