Funds are low this year. So, i'm going to have buy something from Dell with my account. I've been looking all day and can't decide. What about a pocket computer? Is that something that a teen girl would enjoy? If not, what are some other electronic gifts or something that comes from Dell that I could get her?

i want to get my mom something really special because she means alot to me but i dont know what to get her and im going shopping tomorrow...any ideas? and i only have about $100..lol..please anybody throw out some ideas to me..

Before I discuss this at all I want it known that I don't want to hear that I (as a stepmother) should not do anything but bow down to my stepchildren. My husband works 60 hours a week and their Mom hasn't seen them in 2 years. I am essentially a single mom to 5 kids and literally days go by without Dad getting to see the kids more than a few minutes. That being said: I am so tired of my 5 kids doing nothing. I rarely even reprimand the kids because of the reason above. But I do occasionally (like twice a month) bring all 5 kids in for a family meeting about responsibility and cleaning up their messes...not putting holes in the wall, etc. EVERYTIME I try to discuss these things with the kids my 12 y/o stepdaughter does the same thing. "I want to call my Mom". With Mom being very irresponsible she sympathizes with my SD which makes things worse. So I end up backing off and get the phone after I am done talking. So in the middle of a meeting she asks to call mom..your response?

Yes, it is. The rampant stupidity that I see in this particular board can provide me hours of entertainment. I'm not talking about the topics asked on how to parent their children. No, I'm talking about the questions that seemed to be asked by the teens themselves.

Examples:

1. The variations of "I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX AM I PREGNANT?" questions
2. The various misspellings of "Pregnant"
3. The "does s/he like me?" Most of these are ******* hilarious.
4. The variations of "IF YOU MASTURBATE WILL THIS HAPPEN TO YOU/IS IT WRONG" questions.

And more.

I am a new single parent and I needed to know what are the signs of my new baby not liking the formula he's being fed. I am giving him Similac now and he spits up constantly, sometimes throw up. I am not sure if he likes it or not or even if he can tell if he do. I am concerned because I know all babies spit up but he spits up alot. I just took him off of emfimil (gentle ease), which made him have a hard time with bowel movements.. what to do..his peditrician says to give him whatever he takes in but thats not helping me much... what do you think?

My baby is 7 months..she'll be 8 months day after christmas...she's pulling herself up in the crib and standing up in it...i was reading something that said when the baby starts standing in the crib you should take out the bumper pads...Should I take it out or should i wait? When did you take it out of your baby's crib?

What is the likelihood these are wrong? Im taking another one in an hour or so, all first response (the ones that say test 5 days early) Im so scared im literally shaking. I think i should have gotten it by now so i have a horrible feeling. partner never came in me, condoms or pulled out WAY before ( i know, stupid, thats why im worried) what is the likelihood these are all wrong? i tested 5 days late, 6 days late, and 7 days late, the last one done by a nurse. i really dont know what to do. how long do the results of blood tests take?

i recently lost alot of weight after having my daughter i went from140lbs to 110lbs everything looks good except my tummy which resembles a prune its all shriveld up and theres alot of excess skin & stretchmarks, is there anyway i can get rid of this without sugery?

Okay i need to know when should i take a pg test...and i dont want the answer when i miss my period because i dont know when my periods are supposed to come...i had my last period the 15th of november and i ovulated the 6th of december..so when do i test if i dont know when my next period is supposed to be here...please just give me a reasonable date of when youd test if you were me?? cause im taking vitex and super primrose and my doctor said if your pregnant and you keep taking it it will cause a miscarriage...but i dont know when my period is supposed to be here..i dont feel bloated or anything? I went to the shelter to look at the kittens, and in the kitten room was a mom with a toddler and a small baby in a carrier on the floor. There were about 5 kittens running around and jumping ALL over the infant. I hate kids, but my womanly instincts kicked in and I ran to the baby and got the kittens off of her. They were pouncing on her head!! The whole time, the mom just played with the cats and talked to a volunteer and paid NO attention to her infant. Finally she saw a kitten pouncing on her baby's head and she laughed and said "How cute." Is it just me, or is this lady a complete moron!!!!!!! Kittens have sharp little claws and teeth. She paid ZERO attention to that baby. I almost punched her. Am I wrong for being upset by this????

Okay, so if this child is a girl we are definatly going to name her Claire.
