Funds are low this year. So, i'm going to have buy something from Dell with my account. I've been looking all day and can't decide. What about a pocket computer? Is that something that a teen girl would enjoy? If not, what are some other electronic gifts or something that comes from Dell that I could get her?

she has an mp3 player, ipod, and of course a phone. And a playstation 2 but she is no longer into playing games.

I'm not exactly sure what a pocket computer IS. I'm sure if it was cool, my 16-year-old sister would have asked for one. So ... maybe not.
She DID ask for something called an iDog. Does your daughter have an MP3 player? It plugs into this iDog thing, and the Dog plays the music, flashes lights, and dances. There's also a DoggieBag you can get to carry the iDog (with a pocket for the MP3 player) and different clothes (?) to dress the iDog in.
All that stuff's at Wal-Mart ... it was like $25 for the iDog, $20 for the DoggieBag, and $10 apiece for some of the outfits.
I have no idea why anyone would want that, but if she has an MP3 player, it's an idea.

What about buying her something that's NOT electronic. Spend some quality time as mother and daughter in a spa. Get a manicure, a pedicure and facial and just TALK! You could talk about what nifty electronic gift you could get her next year. And believe me 17 years old LOVE to be pampered. Let us know what you got her in the end...
Happy B-day to you both by the way!

a pocket computer is a great idea. so is a mp3 player or a new camera. give her the catalog and ask her to pick 5 things and then you buy the one that you think she would love

Go to Wal*Mart ......you have a spoiled 17 yr old.
mine and my mom's funds are low and we can afford to get anything from dell. If she can be happy with something from Wal*Mart... then you have a rotten child and i hope she can find someone that can fill your shoes.
