I'm old enough to know one would think, but evidently not! It is about 2 weeks from my period, but I have sore breasts, a daily headache and fatigue, all off which are unusual for me. Maybe it is all in my head because I am hoping that I am. Any insight?

Ummm...headache AND fatigue are signs of pregnancy. Most women know that. I've been careless with the pill too...OOPS

You would just be getting ready to ovulate if you are like most women. So... unless your last period was not a real period and was implantation bleeding then I would say those shouldn't be signs. Or it could all just be in your head because you are hoping so badly to be. I would suggest taking a test if your last period was not "normal" and if it was.. wait until you miss the next one. But in the mean time act as if you are. That means only Tylenol for the headaches, eat right, prenatal vitamins (they won't effect a test), no smoking, drinking, drugs, etc. Good luck I hope you get what you want.
P.S. BABY DUST FOR YOU!!!

I think everyone is different. I felt signs with my second pregnancy at about 4 weeks pregnant much sooner than with my first at about 10 weeks. And this third pregnancy I knew from about 3 weeks I started to feel the heavy sore breasts mainly. I guess it is like I said different for everyone and what they have felt / experienced before.
I wish you luck that you are pregnant if you are hoping to be.
I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with my thrid pregnancy its the best feeling in the world to know your bringing another little life into this world to love and cherish.

I didn't know I was pregnant for certain, but I had a clue something was up within a week of conception. I was SO tired by the end of the work day, which was unusual for me. I had to use the restroom all the time. I had implantation bleeding (I was very regular and that was odd)... My breasts didn't start hurting until after I already knew I was pregnant.

I'd definitely suggest a HPT...it sounds as if it is possible. Did you have sex while you were ovulating (about 14 days after the beginning of your LMP)? If so, its possible.
Fatigue most definitely is a sign of pregnancy. I was EXTREMELY tired when I was in my first trimester right around the time I found out.

if you actually trying to get pregnant then it could be all in your head from really wanting to be pregnant. but if it was an 'accident' then it could be the real thing especially if all of the things are unusual for you. I say try to wait it out and then if your period is late/doesnt show, take a test.

you could be, when i was pregnant i started feeling symptoms within the first week (but i was having multiples). Each woman is different. If you are worried take a pregnancy test or go to your doc.
