Pregnancy & Parenting - 6 December 2006

This may be a weird question but I am curious.I have a 19 month old son and his poops are still really soft.Is that normal for this age?He eats everything I do so I don't understand why it is not like adult poop.Any ideas why?

My son and I have gone through a big transation in the last 6 months, moving in with my mom, out of the area where he was close to his father, and I have returned to school full time. He is at a new school and has transitioned well, except for the teacher says she thinks he has ADHD because he has a problem sitting still during certain portions of the day. He loves to sit and read books, do music time, and their dance class, but sometimes wants to run around when he's supposed to be sitting. He has been at this new school for about 3 months now, and I think he's just settling into his new environemnt, testing the waters as kids to. He is 5, and will be in Kindergarten next year, so is it too early to diagnose him with ADHD, and is medication the answer now, or would it be better to wait?

pretty soon tears are streaming down her face. It's contagious because then I get all giggly too. Is this common in teens?

I hate admiting this to people but I have a 5 year old daughter and for just about her whole life I havnt wanted to deal with her. Her father hasnt been in her life since after she was 6 months but my boyfriend has. I hate being a parent and regret never having an abortion or givng her up for adoption at birth. I cant make these feelings go away and they eat at me everyday of my life. Now that she started school its become even worse. I dont know what to do, but I have to do something. She doesnt deserve to grow up like this.....with a mother who doesnt hug or kiss or even watch TV with her. So please help me.

It gets cold here so she needs to wear a blanket sleeper. She can also unsnap the other kind! What else is there that will keep her warm? She does not like blankets either.

soft. Is that the same as thinning?? Does that mean it's not too far away? I'm due Jan 2nd, but would like it to happen before the 1st. He also said he could tell he was head down from the internal exam, does that mean the baby's dropped? I am feeling a little pain and pressure down there especially when I walk or put on pants. But, I thought the baby dropping was supposed to be pretty noticeable? Could it happen without actually feeling it happen? Thanks!!

I mean, i feel odd asking it... and a bit stupid! lol.

I'm 21wks pregnant and my ankles hurt! They've been hurting the last week or so. Is this at all normal or pregnancy related?! lol. The only thing that seems to relieve them is to rotate them in little circles.. its really strange cause its not like my feet hurt or anything (which i would understand), its just my ankles.

Am i just strange? lol

I have been on ortho evra for about 7 months but am having a lot of pregnancy symptoms and am wondering how often pregnancy really occurs while on this method of birth control. I'm considering a c-section and I want to know the healing time and what I'm going to be able to do being a single Mom. I want my baby to be healthy and recent events have come to light with my OB/GYN that makes me believe my baby's health is in danger.

Please any help with c-sections will help. You can post it here or you can email me through here. I just need healing rate times, what will happen, how easy it was after wards, any help would be wonderful.

She has been sleeping in her crib, in our room for the first year. Half the night anyway, until we give up and bring her in our bed after she wakes up 3 times or so. Last weekend we moved her to her own room, crib and all. Now she will sleep in there, but only after crying for an hour minimum. She continues to wake up at least four times also. She goes back to sleep easily, but we still have to go in and give her her pacifier over and over again. How much longer will this last? Any suggestions to make it easier?

why is there so many kids uncared for out there?
My mom is a foster parent and she just got a 13 month old baby and an 11 year old girl.
The 11 year old girls mother said she doesn't want her daughter how can one not want their own daughther and she will just keep on having kids.
why is it that people who can not have kids and would give kids the best life in the world and give them everyting a kids could ask for can't have kids
And people that do not deserve to have kids can have 4 or 5 or more
I hate this I see it everyday
I swear they have kids to get the money
Why are people like this?

Me and my brother are agruing I say Mia Simles is totally not Hot he says she is..Who is right..I say Linsay Lohan and Paris Hitlon are totally hot he says there aren't...Who is right...He says Angelina Jolie is hot I say she looks like a fish. My name is lil red, im 13, an i dont kno if im pregnant or not. i snuck my boyfriend in 1 day an he wuz supposed 2 leave but he didn't. so we stayed 2 gether, an slept 2gether, but we didn't have sex. i have 2 questions

1st of all- do you think that clothing factories are making sluttier clothes for yunger generations? when my brother's friend was nine, she came to school one day wearing a leather jacket and mini skirt, knee high boots and fishnets......but i can't really blame her parents ALL the way......cuz people made those clothes to fit young children

and 2nd- do you think younger age groups are picking up bad habits...or are they just over educated. the oter night a four year old that i'm very close with mentioned the word "sex" when she was describing a connection between her daddy and his girlfriend. then a nine year old said "no they weren't having sex, or they'd be naked!" now with this issue do we blame siblings, parents, friends of the children...or tv/movies?!?!?!
