I have been on ortho evra for about 7 months but am having a lot of pregnancy symptoms and am wondering how often pregnancy really occurs while on this method of birth control. Please share your story with me! I kinda would love to be pregnant but on the other hand me and my husband aren't ready for baby #2!

I was on Ortho Evra when I got pregnant with this child. I followed the directions and everything that the box and my doctor had said and I still ended up pregnant (now I am 38wks). It is possible to get pregnant on birth control, not just with ortho evra but I know people that have gotten pregnant on Depo and the pill. None of them are fool-proof. My husband and I were not expecting to have another child so soon (when I found out I was pregnant my daughter was 16 months old) but we made ourselves ready. Wait for your period but know it is a possibility.
