It's not common, but not a bad thing either, (I am a single father of a 15 year old boy). Teens like to take lots of things to the extreme as that is the teenage way, and with all the hormones flowing this type of behaviour is nothing to worry about.
PS, she sounds like a riot and I hope you can see the sunny side of this situation and as you say you laugh with her.( I also get tears in my eyes after a good belly laugh and I am 49 ).
PSS, if she starts to hyperventilate, get her to breath into a paper bag for a few minutes, and that will help.

Of course! It's perfectly normal. My best friend and I get in so much trouble during band/school/whatever because she'll just look at me and I'll remember and we'll have giggle fits! It's so much fun, and besides it relieves so much stress just to have a good laugh. =] Also, I'm not sure all the statistics but adults smile/laugh about ten times less than children do. Take the hint from your daughter. She's loving life and I bet she'd love it if you loved life with her too!!!
And you know what I found out...every time that you laugh, you burn 6 calories. lol. Thinking about that just makes me want to laugh all day long.

Yeah it is common. I do that all the time. Once I was in basketball practice and my friend sorta tripped and almost fell, it wasn't even that funny but I couldn't stop laughing, I laughed for like 10 minutes and the coach got mad because I was holding up practice...

She's a teen, and she's happy. What's more--it's rubbing off on you!!! Given today's tough teen environment, enjoy it! Giggling around teen girls especially is common--not as much, though, around the parents. Good luck!

dupree has a point, she's happy just be happy about that. Don't worry she'll decide you ruined her life and she hates you in the next couple years.
