Why does the nurse sometime slap your butt before an injection there? Has anybody experienced this? What'd you do after?

It kind of freaked me out.

My 11 year old asked me how old he has to be to have a GF, Than told me he already thinks he has one. Than he asked me if it was alright. WHAT DO I TELL HIM?

Thankfully only her school bag was set alight. And a group of friends she was walking with put the fire out. this is the second incident, last time he sprayed her hair and attempted to light it but failed. I have been to the school the boy was already suspended for something else. The police say he is just a minor so maybe only a caution. These products are banned from school!
So how far would you all take this matter without her coping the implications of immature teenagers that are already saying she caused him to be suspended.

I recently heard on a radio show about a book that explains how FAS is a myth created by prohibitionists in order to make alcohol look bad. The scientists actually falsified their findings. The author's sources are supposedly confirmed. I know that in Europe, alcohol is actually prescribed by doctors for pregnant women. Opinions?

My wife is at her witts end with him. We've had troubles with other things, but this one has no end! we have put all the sweets we have in the house out of reach of him, and he still finds a way to get ahold of them. He hides them in his room and eats them in the middle of the night when we are sleeping. It's like he has some strange addiction to them. My wife and I have sweet tooths (teeth?), and don't believe we should have to get rid of all the candy or lock it up. We have spanked him, grounded him, and the likes and it doesn't work. I don't know what else to do other than turn to stangers on the internet!!!

I am pregnant with my second set of twins. My doctor called and said my body has built up antibodies from a blood transfusion I had when I gave birth to my first set in 1994. He said I will have to start seeing a high risk maternal medicine doctor for this. What are the dangers and procedures involved? Should I be worried about my well being or my babies?

i've seen a commercial, but forgot to write it down. My 12yr old wants a phone, but i would like to know who and when he is calling. I saw the commercial that says parents can get online and see who there children are calling and what time..etc. I would really like to know what the name of the phone is and who the carrier is. I am trying to decide on a good name for my unborn child. (I have till August to decide...)

I'm just looking for boy names, because we've already decided on a name if it's a girl.

Something not easily rhymed with anything weird, (so other kids can't make fun), and something that sounds nice with the surname KIRK.

If it helps, we are caucasian, of Scottish heritage.

I'm getting ready to have my first baby. My husband and I know we want to have more than one kid, so when registering for baby gear (strollers, bedding, high chairs, play yards, etc.) should I expect the items I get for this baby to hold up for the next kid or two, or will i have to replace most items with every kid?
