Is it a name that a kid will get teased for, or is it beautiful?

Kids are going to picked on no matter what you do to stop it. Whether it be their name, clothes, they way they talk, or how there mom tells them they love them before they leave. So name your child what you want! I think Virginia is pretty!!!

It's very beautiful! I know a Virginia that goes by Ginnie and she loves it.
Choosing a name for a child is difficult...even if you think you've checked every corner making sure the name can't be made fun of, some red-headed bratty kid will find a way.

If you think it is beautiful then go for it. Old Fashioned names are all the rage now so she will go perfectly with the Charlotte's, Isabella's, Lillian's, and Harry's she will be graduating with. :)
I went to school with a couple of Virginia's. One went by Virginia, the other had the nickname Ginger which is really cute. It suited her personality perfectly.

I know a girl named Virginia, she babysits my son, and she is the SWEETEST girl in the world! I think the name is beautiful and unique because it's not overly used. I don't think she'll get teased at all. Plus Virginia has cute nicknames like "Ginny".

Beautiful name. All of my friends with Virginia for first or middle names are very sweet people, not mention they like their names. Ginny and Jenny are common nicknames...also nice. (:

I think Virginia is sophisticated and beautiful. Also, if your daughter wants a nickname, there aren't any ugly or tacky ones for Virginia.

My proper name is Virginia, don't do that to a baby. It can be turned in to terrible things and the kid will be teased all through their lives. Not to mention the fact that no one is named that anymore. Most people named Virginia live in nursing homes.

I love the name. My aunt's name is Hassie Virginia, and she goes by her middle name. I also like the nick name Ginny. Very southern.

my moms name is virginia and she hates it. In school they picked on her name made up cruel things to go with her name . She said that its to long of a name to give a child and believe it or not a lot of people cant spell it. other than that I think it is a pretty name.
