My naming pet peeves:
Names that are rediculously mispelled because the parents are trying to be cute and unique but they just come across looking ignorant.
Boy names for girls. Like there arn't enough cute girl names to pick from, they have to steal the few good boy names. Everyone knows that after a name is used enough for a girl, it is no longer cool to use it as a boy name.
Super trendy names that are going to be out of fashion by the time the kid reaches middle school.
Names of professions or things: Hunter, Trucker, Taylor, Sailor, Forrest, River, Star, etc.
Sibling names that rhyme
I could go on forever! Guess I'm just extremely picky
Thanks for the question, it was fun!

So many things I hate:
Nicknames for first names like Billy instead of William or Jack instead of James.
Boy names for girls: Shane and Michael are the worst examples of this.
The Sha's and La's- Shaniqua and LaDonna
Silly spelling - Emmaleigh instead of Emily or Madysyn instead of Madison
Places names - Brooklyn, Paris, Boston.
Last names as first - Campbell is my worst.
Names taken from star's babies - Nevaeh and Suri
Things- Star, Mercedes, Destiny, Heaven
Not too fond of really old fashioned names like Ethyl and not at all of made up ones.
I could go on and on....

Damien - I think of an EVIL child...haha!
Also, stuffy old names like Esther, Mildred and Dorothy. Not a big fan of the last name for a first name deal, like Cooper, Brooks, Carter, etc. Even worse when it's used for a girl!

I don't like it when people come up with ridiculous ways of spelling normal names. Their poor child has to go through their entire life being made fun of or misspelled.
Also, I don't like it when people put a different name on the birth certificate then the one that they call the baby. For instance, if you want to name your child Maggie, why put Margaret on their birth certificate? Then they go through their entire life with 2 names . . . one that is really their name and one that is only their name on paper!

Sharon, Heather, Amber, Ocean, Peter, Dan, Jennifer, Cheryl, Stephen, Sherry, Patty, Wayne, Nicole...to name a few.
Fun question! Thanks! SD

I hate the name
HUNTER
I cant see why anyone can give a name that represents the killing of animals to a child. Its not a strong name, it's an aggressive name.
I also dislike made up names with little or no meaning

Ok, I hate the "older" woman names such as:
Shirley
Dorothy
Barbara
Sandra
and I hate Kim or Kimberly
And I HATE the "trendy" names for babies now!
Jaden or Jayden
Jordan
Madison
McKenna or McKenzie
I HATE made up names, names with "Y" in the middle, names with too many letters such as "Y" and "K".
And I hate "unisex" names.
I'm so HATEFUL! hahaha
When people try to pick a "unique" name, they should actually try to be unique!
