If baby was kicking a lot at first, there must have been alot of room in the womb. Now that baby has grown there is less room. If you have movement things are fine. If your concerned talk to your Dr. When there is no movement that's a time to be concerned.

As you get farther along and the baby gets bigger the amount of space they have in there shrinks so movement is less. If you have a drop in movement all of the sudden though, and changing position, laying on your left side, and drinknig juice doens't help, then call yuor OB. they can hook you up and do a test (that for the life of me I cannot remember the name but I had it a couple times). They will moniter the baby's heartbeat and see if you are having any contractions. the weird thing is a sneeze registers as contrax on it..lol :)

I never did kick counts cause my baby wasn't very active during the day.. she was a puncher more then a kicker and was head down for the longest so I was always getting punched in the crotch..lol. But if I had a concern I did the kick counts for an hour or so. I only had concern once and they hooked me up, the baby appeared to be sleeping but woke up once they gave me apple juice.

Good luck and hope it's nothing.

I'm no doctor, but I would say yes, everything's fine. How far along are you in your pregnancy?Check with your doctor, but I have had two children and that happened both times. They seem to quiet down a little bit before they're born. Is the time close, because they have to turn around to come out head first, so maybe the baby was getting into position? They're more active at certain times, but they're also growing and need to rest.

do you have an ob/gyn doctor that you see?? You should check with his office for the correct answer rather than asking anyone on the internet. If you don't have a doctor that you are seeing, you could go to a local hospital and be checked in their emergency room. If you don't have insurance and can prove need, see their patient advocates office and you can probably be seen pro bono. After all that, I don't think that you should worry. Babies kick and then stop. They are on their own schedule inside you. If you irritate them enough, they let you know by kicking more. The less they kick, the more content.

Most likely you are both OK.... But...

When was the last time the baby kicked the hardest VS now?
When is the last time you went in for a check up or she your Doctor?
You need to talk your concerns over with your doctor to keep your mind at ease.. Even if your not stressed at this time just double check...

Hope all is well.... Merry Christmas...

As long as he/she is still moving everything is probably okay. They slow down a bit during the last trimester, especially from mid-8th month on. The general rule of thumb is about 10 times and hour when lying down. But you should probably check with your OB to be sure - that way if there is a problem you can get help, and if not, your concerns will be relieved.

Through out my pregnancy my baby did not kick a lot. He was very quiet. My doctor told me that my baby was very healthy. All babies are different. Maybe you should talk to your doctor. Now he is 7 months out of the womb. He is all over the place. God Bless.

Don't you hate stupid answers like Pacman's when you have a serious question? Especially when they aren't even remotely funny. If you're going to make a jackhole out of yourself, at least apply some wit.

To answer your question, it depends...they go through stages. My doctor told me not to worry unless I noticed no movement at all. It is probably just your baby shifting or being tired (my little guy went through periods like that too and then would resume kicking). Also, they do movements you can't even feel. Don't be shy about calling your doctor anytime you're worried though. it's what they get paid for.

How far along are you? You know, the larger the baby grows, the less room s/he has to kick. If you're worried though, I'd definitely call the nurseline at your local hospital just for peace of mind, if nothing else.
