Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 December 2006

Her mom and some of her friends are putting so much stress on her. She never had a father figure in her life and now her mom has a boyfriend. She is constantly under stress, which cannot be good for October (if her baby's a girl thats her name) . Any advice on how to calm my friend down when she starts to fret? THANKS !

If I have hazel eyes and my mom has dark brown eyes and my dad has bright blue eyes and my sister has green eyes and my grandparents had Brown eyes and my great grandparents had brown and blue eyes and the babies dad has blue eyes and his whole extended family has blue eyes what color are my babies eyes going to be, they are very light blue right now and not darkening at all and she is six months.

I asked him if the kids were mean to him and he said no and its not the teachers cause i asked that to. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do about it? I almost ready to take him out and wait until next year, beacuse he will have to go to preschool again because of his birthday.

My period isn't even late yet but my breats are so sore all of a sudden. And if I did conceive it would have been about two weeks ago, but I am not sure if symptoms start that soon.

I am 2 months pregnant tomorrow and I havent had any nausea at all... I read that you are more likely to have a miscarriage if there is not any signs of that.

Plus, I feel slight cramping iny my stomache, my sister thats my stomache adjusting to the change but is it associated with the miscarriage.

This is my first child and I am scared! I am figuring out my doctors and stuff this week (since i just found out last wendsday) but I am still scared.

Can anyone help me?

I already have a 2 year old daughter who is the world to me,but recently my husband has brought up the idea of another child.Personally I have said that I would rather just have one child,but a lot of people tell me to have more.Some say it's time for my daughter to have a "playmate".Would it be too soon to have another baby? Is my daughter still too young for a sibling? When would be a good/right time to have another baby?....Should I have another baby???

Ever since i've become pregnant, i don't seem normal anymore. I used to go to the bathroom everyday - every other day, but now its like i'm constipated or something, cause i wont have to go for like 4 days and then i get cramps and have to go, and then its more runnyish. What can i do to make it more normal, or is it something im going to have to live with the whole pregnancy?

I was just wondering what you think about my life:

I'm 17
8 months pregnant
getting married on valentines day
living in rome
i weighed 115 before i got pregnant
now i weigh 134
i have black hair, green eyes(i look alot like sophia bush)
My fiance is 26 and he is italian/american
his name is Jay, he had brown hair and blue eyes
he has a good job--(military)
our baby is a girl
her name will be October--named after me!
i live in the beautiful city of Naples Italy
I have a good house
i ahve a working car
i have a part time job--american librarian on the military base

but here are the things that i think are bad:

my parents want to kill me right now
i think that i cannot handle a baby
i have not seen my friends in 6 months
i speak good italian, but not well enough to make some friends
my soon to be sister-in-law, really hates me and is trying to break us up.
My doctor speaks only italian, so my poor, tired fiance' has to cut time off of work to translate.

Considering that its fact that very short men have much harder lives than the general population (make less money, date much much less - if at all, or remain an involuntary virgin for life) - would any of you abort your MALE son if you knew that he was only going to grow up to 5'4" or shorter? Researchers in Sweden have found that short men are most at risk for suicide anyways-

I wish my father never had kids with my mother. Height is passed on through the womens side. My mother is only 5'0" and my father is 5'10" - I have to suffer my mothers genetic sins and live my life at 5'4". I'm a 23 year old Stanford psych student who has never dated and chances are I will never date due to my repulsive height. Women say that height is not important - but thats not at all true - and now I have to suffer as a 5'4" cripple.

And please, no "god" or "Jesus" answers - those concepts are rationally meaningless.

My two year old has become a very picky eater in the past few months.All she wants to eat is junk food.Everyday it is a battle to try and get her to eat something healthy.Some people tell me this is normal for a two year old and just to let her have whatever she wants (including junk food)as long as she is eating something.Is this right??? My baby is 5 weeks old and hasn't pooped since Tuesday afternoon and now it's Saturday night! Here's the thing... she's strictly breastfed, EXCEPT for the dr put her on 1 oz of half and half prune juice and water twice a day and STILL hasn't gone in 5 1/2 days. Should I be worried?
