My son was born May 26....he is 6 months old. When you are pregnant you have time to calculate weeks and days (for example: I once said I'm 34 weeks and 2 days!) Once the baby is born you are lucky if you have a clear enough head to get the month right! :)

it is not any longer a perfect technological information. I counted weeks till my young ones were 3 months previous and from there then I purely used their birthday and stated that they were 4 months previous, 4 a million/2 months previous, 5 months previous, etc and then round 2 years previous, i ended utilising months and went with my new child purely became 2, is very nearly 2 a million/2 years previous, will be 3 in this month, etc. the reason I used weeks contained in the starting up is because it makes a wide distinction, as you understand, from 4 weeks to six weeks and utilising months did not look to ever tournament up or help at the same time as they're that youthful. wish this facilitates.

I went by weeks until I lost track somewhere around four months! Now I go by her birthdate. She will be 7 months on December 12th, so when people ask I say almost 7 months or 6 and 1/2 months. Most people are confused when you say the number of weeks anyway!

I'd say go by months...its easier to remember! For example if she is 4 months and 3 1/2 weeks old, you could say she'll be five months in a couple days...If you only have one child, you'll have more brain cells to figure out the weeks exactly...I however, have three...have to go by what I can remember off the top of my head. LOL...congrats on your little one!!!

My sons dad and I are at ends with this too. My son was born on Monday Sept 18...now every Monday I count him as being another week old. His dad says that he goes by the date of the 18th. So he counts him as being another month old every 18th. This in turn throws us off by as much as a week and a half. I am the mommy so I say we do it My Way!!! lol

I would say calculate her age by her birth-date because it wouldn't make since to do it by weeks because that's how the doctors like to do it they only give you an estimation and when they do give you that estimation of when your baby is due they give it to you in weeks so I would so no don't do it in weeks do it by the birth date.

If the baby has not reach its first year, calculate your baby's age by months plus the remaining weeks. #months #week(s) old.
