Swollen or tender breasts is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts; they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.
Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, impending menstruation (PMS) can also cause your breasts to be swollen or tender.

Well, I'm trying to conceive, and have been having sore breasts for the past couple of days, and they're still sore. That isn't a normal PMS symptom for me so I"m hoping I'm pregnant!
I think that if sore breasts aren't a usual PMS symtpom for you then yes you could be. It is one of the early signs of pregnancy.
Good luck and Congrats if you are!

My breasts hurt before I missed my period. I couldn't figure out why they hurt SOOO bad, I'd had sore breasts before my period before but not like that. It was about a week before I missed my period.
I tested positive 3 days before my missed period, after I puked when I smelled hotdogs.
