I mean it used to be that people would name kids after relatives, which is kinda cool when you have a Roman numeral after your name like III or V or X, but then would probably get even more confusing when you get to the higher numbers like L or D or C, btw, speaking of currency, I knew a kid named Buck when I was younger, but I think that was in reference to his front teeth, and although he had a twin brother, people just called him Jerry, only the nuns at Our Lady of Perpetual Motion would call him Jerome.
So, in conclusion, personally, meaning me, as a person, I would suggest that when given the task of providing someone with a name which will be used for that person's entire life, I'd urge everyone to give it a lot of thought, and not just a monetary unit, or better yet, allow him or her to pick their own name, and just refer to them as Son or Daughter.

Why do celebrities never get stretch marks? It's not fair, lol, I put the lotions on every morning and night and still got them on my lower stomach. Britney Spears got big, and still didn't get any. I heard Reese Witherspoon has some though, dunno.

I'm going back to school in January, and I'm 2 weeks pregnant. Is it difficult being pregnant while in college? Have you ever seen anyone do this? I should be do next September, so I was considering not going next Fall Semester and just picking up the next Spring? What do you think?
No rude comments please, I know what I'm doing, and you don't know my age, and yes this was planned.

In some countries the doctors use to move down the head of the little penis of the baby boys and clean it up but in here in London they don't do it, so what do you think about it? thanks

I find this to be rediculous myself but my sister inlaw told me that if you have bleeding and difficulties in pregnancy and your baby survies through the ordeal you r most likely to be having a girl because the male sperms would not survive such an ordeal because they r much weaker sperm.
I would love your feedback and would love to here of anyone who has went through bleeding during pregnancy and has had a healthy boy who made it through the haul...

Terribly ugly? No girl is ugly, I mean everyone tells me I'm "super cute" or "model material" but I get paranoid and think they're lying. Do any of you girls feel the same? Like when we're at school and all the girls are crowding around the mirror trying to beautify themselves for guys (which aren't even that good looking!)
It makes me wistful and annoyed at the same time. So how do you guys cope with that feeling that you're a hopeless case and should just give up on looks?
Weird, isn't it, puberty?

I think I like the Maclaren Techno XT, but would like to hear feedback from anyone who has one already. Or can anyone recommend another make/model?

I would like it to be lightweight, have multi positions one of which is flat, be easy to adjust, collapse and put up, and if poss to last through toddlerhood.

I am 38 wks and 4 days pregnant I went to a specialist Nov. 17 about my baby's growth, he weighed 4lbs 14 oz., they said he was healthy just small three days later I went to my doctor who I usually see and she got him weighing at 5 lbs 15 oz. Both I and my husband were small babies though. I was born at 38 wks weighing5 lbs and 8oz and my husband full term 6lbs and 8oz. Does anyone else have small babies?

Since finding out that both my kids are anaphylactic to peanuts and tree nuts, I've become a little obsessed with this issue.

It really bothers me when I see people bringing nuts or peanut butter in public places like kids playgrounds. I've seen kids eating peanut butter sandwiches at a picninc table with their parents and then they go to play on the playground with my kids. I have no choice but to leave, my kids could have literally died.

Do you agree that peanuts should be banned from all public places? I won't say restaurants, because those of us with allergic kids, know not to go into certain restaurants. I mean from places like movie theatres, playgrounds, theme parks, sporting events. To me it's an issue of social responsibilty.

For those who don't think it should be banned, why not? How do you justify bringing something into a public place that could kill someone if they smell it or accidentally touch it?

I have a very hard time when my husband disciplines my three year old daughter. We have never spanked or hit, but i still feel sooooo sad when my husband talks to her in a stern voice because she often cries. Please keep in mind that he never says anything cruel or degrading in any way to her. He just speaks loud and i feel like he's scaring her. Sometimes i go and pick her up and he sayd it's absolutely the worst thing that i could do when he's in the midddle of talking to her.
