what can I do to encourage my 6 1/2 month old to crawl, he lays on his belly and kinda shuffles across the floor but he gets very frustrated as he cant move far and he starts crying, ive tried to get his knees underneath him but he aint haqving any of it

Over the past couple of weeks she has had pregnancy symptons:
Nausea, Needing to urinate alot and feeling sick.

I don't have a child but my grandma babysat this really annoying brat. Hes four and I hated it! Don't think he's all innocent either. One time he hit his kid brother when I was there visiting my grandma and then the little boy started crying. He blames things like broken toys and messes on his little brother, who's two years old. He ran around the house when my grandmother was not looking, even after the fact that she told him repeatedly not to. He doesn't listen. Their mom doesn't care cuz she's poor, or my grandma felt sorry for her cuz she's one of our relative's good friends.

I use the Medela pump to bottle feed breast milk to my newborn.

Does anybody have any tips to quickly clean and sterlize the bottles and accessories ?

The steam bags and wipes that Medela makes, are nice but expensive. Are there any cheaper replacements ?

I find swing, mobile, carrier-time, tummy-time, some stroller walking kinda boring repetition for me. Just wonder if there's other ways to keep my little one entertained while educated? Thanks!

son got a 13 year old year pregant in texas when he was 17.now he 18 her 14.he stayed in texas to support thier baby.i had told the mother of the girl before she got pregant that my step-son was sexully active.she didnt even seem to care drinking seemed more inportant.so they have a baby,well he came back home 1 month a go becuz her parents decied that unless they got money to then he could not see his baby.problem ok she calls cring all the time her parents are drinking fighting,and she dont want to be there.my step son cant do anything for her becuz when he tries her parents start trouble.he concern for the baby and the mother.he got a good job,just bought a car and he wants to know what to do,how to go about doing it.pls help any advice will help.

I bumped into some-one I was in a care home with yesterday.

When I first met her she was 17, with 2 babies who had been taken into care, and were awaiting adoption-
She had her first child at 14 years old, and second child at 16.

Yesterday she was pushing a double buggy with twins in, both 3 months old...
When asked how she'd been, she told me (unashamedly, that she was a heroin addict) and that a THIRD child had been born (prior to the twins) addicted to heroin, and heartbreakingly, had been put on a methadone programme at birth, and put on the 'child protection register'
It took the local authorities 8 months before they took the baby into care and put her on the adoption list also.

Now at the age of 24, she has just had her twins, both born with heroine addictions too, and also put on the 'child protection register'
It is only a matter of time, until these poor babies are also taken into care.

My question is,
Should she be sterilised without her consent?

This is my first time using a ovulation test, its the answers brand. I started testing on the recomended day and got two lines the same color. Every time i use one they come out the same with two lines dark, for 8 days in a row. does that mean im ovulating or not?

well.. my husband and i have been trying for over a year to have a baby. and well yesterday we thought it actually happened! but it turned out the nurse read the test wrong and once again... i am heart broken and well kind of depressed. it sucks to have to go through this every month. i just dont know what else to do. i take prenatal vitamins, i quit smoking, i dont get up afterwards... i just dont understand.. if you have any help or advice.. please help!

I'm just about to go on Alesse, and I wanted to know how long I have to wait before the pill kicks in? If I start taking the Pill the day of my period, and have not been on any oral contraceptives before, am I covered as soon as I start taking the pill, or do I have to wait a month for the effects to be felt? (I.E. would I have to use another form of birth control as well for the first month?) Thanks.

I took the morning after pill on the 13th of november...within 24 hours of having sex. I had a period on on the 1st of november and it lasted until the 5th. After taking the morning after pill... i found myself having another period just 2 weeks after my last one. This period started on the 18th of november and ended on the 22nd of november. I am just curious on if there is a way to make the delivery go easier or faster... i have a 6 year old son and he was 9 lbs exactly at birth is it true that if everything goes "Normal" through out the pregnancy and you deliver your second child to full term that the baby will most likely be bigger then the first child, i have heard alot of stories but everyone tells me its true!! YIKES!! I don't klnow if i can handle bigger then 9 lbs...lol HELP!!

i have never had much luck with these tax credits they always seem to get it wrong and now i think they have it wrong again me and my husband have a combined income of 21 thousand a year before tax i only work part time but at the min im on maternity leave im 31weeks preg with twins i recieve £6 a week from tax credits for my little girl who's 4 which is around £300 and something a year but i red up today and it says that any household on less than £50k a year will recieve a minimum of £545 a year which is the basic family element was wondering about other peples income and how much they get???????
