I use the Medela pump to bottle feed breast milk to my newborn.

Does anybody have any tips to quickly clean and sterlize the bottles and accessories ?

The steam bags and wipes that Medela makes, are nice but expensive. Are there any cheaper replacements ?

The steam bags are nice.

If you have a dishwasher, running it through there will also clean it really well each evening before bed.

My coworker recommended the Avent Steam Sterilizer. So I got one. We haven't used it yet, but everyone I've spoken to has loved them. Avent makes two kinds the independent Steam Sterilizer and one that goes in the microwave, which is cheaper at about 30 dollars.

Dishwashers, if you have one, are also really great for sterilizing.

I ran mine through the dishwasher every night. Between pumping at home, I'd throughly hand wash with a mild dish soap and rinse really well. (I did that at work, too, until I found the bags.)
