I find swing, mobile, carrier-time, tummy-time, some stroller walking kinda boring repetition for me. Just wonder if there's other ways to keep my little one entertained while educated? Thanks!

oh that is my favourite baby age! They are so interactive and curious but not old enough to get into too much trouble. They are so much fun to play with. It seems like you are doing everything right. At this age they are starting to like music and peek a boo and they find the simplest things funny. Don't over think this and do what comes naturally. They will learn from you simply talking to them and caring for them.
Have fun.

Babies love it when you sing to them and imitate the sounds and faces they make. Babies also love repetition so they can anticipate what comes next. I have included links to the The Nipissing District Development Screen™ which is a checklist designed to help monitor your child's development. It contains activities that will help you play your part in your child's development.

sing to him, put your favourite music and sing along to him. He will react to your facial expressions so it does not matter what you do. He will find any bright colours interesting and feeling different surfaces. Try hidie boo! and boucing him on your knee to nursery rhymes. Read to him he will be interested if the book and big and bright and even better if he can feel them. Its fun finding new ways to play.

dont be bored with your sons development.

the best way to interact is to sing. sing about everything. sing a running commentary about what you two are doing right now. dont care about it sounding silly, children love rhyme and song, even at this age. it is soothing and is fun. i sang songs about walking up the stairs, doing the dishes, furniture... just sing songs about life. kind of like that 'blues clues' programme, and how the host sings little jingles about what they are doing...

I am a big guy, covered in tattoo's and would sing out in public, and I didnt give a sh!t about what it looked like to others, as my daughter comes first. shes two now, and I still sing nonsense to her and she loves it.
