Blood group A

If you belong to the blood group A, you have A antigens on the surface of your red blood cells and B antibodies in your blood plasma.

Many people also have a so called Rh factor on the red blood cell's surface. This is also an antigen and those who have it are called Rh+. Those who haven't are called Rh-. A person with Rh- blood does not have Rh antibodies naturally in the blood plasma (as one can have A or B antibodies, for instance). But a person with Rh- blood can develop Rh antibodies in the blood plasma if he or she receives blood from a person with Rh+ blood, whose Rh antigens can trigger the production of Rh antibodies. A person with Rh+ blood can receive blood from a person with Rh- blood without any problems.

I do not know the correct answer, but I think that A or AB would be present in at least one of your parents.(this is a guess as I am not an expert)

absolutely not.
it only means that both of your parents have to be heterozygous to the Rh factor, so both can even be Rh+. The same goes for the A blood type. They can be AB, 00 or even B0 assuming the other parent carries the A.

A is a dominant gene so one of you parent has it somewhere so as long as an A has a presence A or AB in one side OK.
rhesus negative is recessive so can hide through generations, but will have implications for child birth in a -ive woman with a +ive husband.
Complex but basically no.
My parents are both A+ive, my brother is O+ive-ok I was AB+ive my mum was found out!!!!!!!!

Yeah, usually your mum, but not always. I'm A rhesus negative as well but my mum isn't. So it doesn't always work that way. If you're worried, ask them both to have their blood types checked then you'll know for sure. :)

No. Happy Thanksgiving.
It is important for a woman to know the Rh if she want to get pregnant.
