I feel for you chick i am in the same situation. Me and my partner have been trying for a year and still nothing has happened. I went to the doctors today and she told me she would run some blood tests on me in general and to check i'm ovulating and also refer my partner to have his semen tested to ensure everything is in good working order. She also told me the best piece of advice she could offer is stop charting my fertility as i have done, reduce my stress levels, enjoy my partner and my sex life and it will happen and stress is the major cause of unexplained fertility problems. I hope this helps, go and see your doctor for basic tests, good luck and as hard as it is (i know) stop stressing it will happen.x.

You're going to hate being told this, but aside from following the advise of your doctor, the only thing you can do is NOT STRESS. I honestly think this makes an impact on getting pregnant and I've heard many stories from women who've said that they got pregnant when they stopped trying.

First of all i would like to say that i totally feel for you. i know you prob dont want to hear that though. Secondly i know how u feel as i was in this very situation three years ago before i had my little boy. What i did was i stopped tyhinking about it and this made me relax more, i stopped worrying about my period coming each month and i just enjuoyed being myself and being with my partner, then it just happened, i became pregnant and i was so happy. so all u have to do is stop trying so hard, relax and let nature take its course, babys come when they want to and there little miracles, im sure this will soon happen for you and i hope it does. BUT PLEASE STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST RELAX!! i know its hard but please try!!
good luck hunni

Well if you have been trying for over a year now, it is time to talk to a fertility specialist. They can find out if there's something wrong with either you or your husband, and get you started on fertility drugs or other options.

Jamie, you are aware that to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Why don't you try adoption? It's easy to adopt a child (especially a newborn) in your same country, than if they came from overseas. I should know. We have family friends that have an adopted daughter who's 14. She grew up with them and they've been raising her since she was a baby.

After a year they should start testing to make sure you are ovulating and that your Fallopian tubes are unobstructed and that your husband has plenty of healthy sperm. These tests are fairly easy to do.
