in my country we have is what called a baby bonus at the moment it is $7000 by the year 2010 it will be $12000 any way the goverenment has decided that teenage mum's won't be quilfied for it as they believe the teenage mum's are not spending it on their babies but the ones that will be quilified are going to get it insalaments what do think on this matter and some say they are only having babies for the cash , give me your opinion on this matter.

I had sex about one week after my last period. My period should come again by this week.. but my gut feeling tells me that I am pregnant...can I take the test today? Or should I wait a few more weeks?
And can excessive drinking really kill the unborn child if the foetus is less than two weeks old?
Please answer....I am freaking out right now...

Has anyone ever had evaporation lines from using a First Response pregnancy test? I did the test tonight, however got distracted after 1 minute, cam back an hour later and there were 2 pink lines. One was dark (control line) and the other was faint but pink. Let me know. Thanks.

I am 38 weeks 1 day and 3 cm dialated. My doctor stripped my membranes this morning and now I am having bloody show. Is this normal? I have read that labor usually occurs within 24 hrs of the show.

I think i am pregnant.
over a month ago i thought i was pregnant so i took a test. negative. one of those dollar store tests. i had a 3 day period after that. it was lighter too. i thought i took the test too soon, but i decided not to sweat it. about a week ago i started to feel bloated.
I ve been like this ever since. my stomach feels hard and a little bigger. when my bf rubs it it feels like butterflies are in it. my body feels different too. ive missed my period this month. i have gas and ive been eating weird stuff like pickles with maple syrup and jelly.bananas with brown mustard also. ive heard these symtoms come later but i cant help it. i feel different and i cansmel everything. i took another test today but it was still negitive. why. i feel so different. is there a chance the tests are wrong. i feel so different and i feel like i wouldnt believe anyone who said i wasnt pregnant. are these tests wrong.im going to the doctor monday but i want other peoples stories.please.

My sis just moved in w/ me & a co-worker of mine (cuz I asked if she ever needs a sitter & apparently she said yes...sometimes) asked what her rates are. She also asked bout if she'd spend the night or not. What do you think of the following rates:

1) $3.00/hr (even after 12 hrs of babysitting)

2) $30.00 for 12 hrs (spending the night) + $5 for each add'l hr.

Oh, this is CDN currency btw. Check out this link for a currency converter: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ I was thinking that maybe she could charge $40 or $50 but then I realized just how ridiculous that'd be.

These are just rates that I came up w/ cuz I think that $20 would be way too cheap to charge for spending the night. I sometimes got $20 for only like 6 hrs, easy money cuz da kid would go to bed 3 hrs later. This person liked to go out & drink @ 7 & be back @ like midnight or 1ish if not later. It was a few yrs ago so I don't quite know how much I was babysitting for. If you don't agree, what's a good rate ?

my question is do you think it is alright for older siblings to discipline younger ones. i am 15 years older than my sister and i have been babysitting her since she was born. she is 7 now i have always disciplined her whether it was a swat on the butt or a time out (whatever was apporpriate at the time) some people say it isnt right because parents should do it but for some reason she responds to me more so than my mother she always has since she was a baby. what do you think just a curiousity question.

I did some detective work on My Space and found several e-mails talking about his friends buying weed and plans on getting together to smoke it-past present and future. I confronted my child and he admitted to trying it once. I know that two of his friends are actively buying "dime" bags. They know I know about them. One even called me to ask what I was going to do. I told him I needed to figure out what I was going to do, but in the meantime he should talk to his parents.
So, do I talk to the parents of the kids involved? I would want to be told. Plus I worry if I don't, one of them may get caught or worse. My son says I will ruin his life if I do...he'll be hated. I'm also debating on the best punishment for my son. I'm conflicted with this. Any suggestions?

I am 12 weeks pregnant (or more, we arent sure yet because I wont have my first ultrasound for a couple of weeks and i am not sure about my periods) I heard my babies heartbeat in the Dr's office last wednesday, and at first I was excited and confident. I had a miscarriage at somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks in july, and I am I guess paranoid about losing this one. I want to be excited but every time I feel a little pain I think, uh oh I am going to lose this one, too. I just want to know if anyone has experienced this. I have a strange sore like feeling in my low abdomen, I have very low back pain some days (usually at the end of the day) and I have fluctuating symptoms of pregnancy (one day my breast hurt very badly, the next day not so badly but maybe I am really tired, the next day I am not so tired but I feel nauseous, etc) I just want to know the truth if anyone experienced these things during a normal pregnancy, or if I should worry.
