Be supportive, but ask for a DNA test to be totally sure.
Call 1-800-R-U-MYKID, or the Maury show. And just so everyone knows, that is a real phone number for a DNA and Paternity testing company. I laugh at the bilboard every time I see it.
And if the test comes back and says that you are the father, be prepared to be there for the baby and help out. If it turns out to not be your baby, you can still be supportive to your ex, but if the relationship ended badly and you don't want to be friends or anything, step aside gracefully. Don't be nasty and call her a slut or whatever.

Get a DNA test then take responsibility for your actions. Im pregnant with my ex's baby and we have one already together and he is a great father. You can still be a dad and not be with the girl. If its yours let it know ur it's daddy!

Get a paternity test first of all to see if you are the father, and if you are then you be a man and step in and take care of the child. Always try your best to be in the child's life because every child needs their father in their lives to help raise them, give them advice, direct them, love them, play with them, and just simply being able to interact with them.
Good luck.

Depending on the state's laws that you live in, you can file a petition in civil court or family court for a paternity test. there are usually laws in place to help you pay for it if that is a problem. Also, there are paternity registries in some states that you have to sign in order to have any rights. Check it out with a free legal advise organization to determine the law and your rights.

After a paternity test you could go for custody if you want. But take responsibility!
