Oh yes. I had a three-day period once, and was totally shocked to have a miscarriage (and a rather painful one!) 10 days later. She should see a doctor. If nothing else, she'll get reassurance that everything is OK. Pregnant women should be reassured at every possible turn! Spotting is worth seeing a doctor for, even if it turns out to be "nothing."

Yes, there are time (even in the 5-6 month) where the body doesn't get rid of all the blood from the last cycle, that it will give out a small amount of brownish blood. There are even women that will bleed a medium amount of blood during their pregnancy and still deliver a healthy baby. Good chance she could still be pregnant.

sure she could be. Has she been to a doctor for a pregnancy test yet to confirm it. If she has then she needs to him to let him know that she is spotting a little

That is actually normal..it is called spotting. But best to check with the doctor...at least it will put your mind to rest....

what color is the blood? bright red bleeding ? or brownish, old blood? bright red bleeding is not a good sign.
