Pregnancy & Parenting - 31 August 2006

I have asked a question before related to this, but matters have gotten worse. My family has been rejecting my newborn. They are crazy about my oldest son, but they don't care much about the baby. I was told to leave my baby with my family when I have to go somewhere so that they'll be forced to take care of him. Today I did that and I came home to find my sick baby straped in his car seat, and crying by himself in the middle of the living room floor, where I left him an hour and a half before! He grandmother and my dad were supposed to be looking after him. My grandmother was lying in her bed with my older son watching t.v. and my dad left soon after I did. The baby was wet and had not been feed. This situation has gone from rejection to neglect.
I beg anyone to give me advice on how to approach my family.

My son uses a paci, watches TV, plays by himself alot, we live in an apartment so he doesn't get to play outside a whole lot....I just feel like I am doing everything wrong!

So tomorrow I find out if I am actually pregnant. I told my ex when my period was late and I began to feel sick all the time he said "oh thats sad what do you want me to do about it?" I was just wondering if I should let him know what the DR. says. I mean he told me flat out he didnt care and that he wasnt coming back, but should that stop me from telling him anyway?

I'm not a dog, there isn't a sign on my stomach that says, "pat me", or "rub me", yet I have a few relatives who seem to think that's what they need to do everytime they see me. It's a pet peeve of mine and I was hoping others have had to deal with this and can give me some good suggestions on how to nicely tell them to stop. I don't want to hurt their feelings because I know they're doing it because they think a pregnant tummy is cute; but it's soo irritating! Thanks. =)

When I took the test today it came up negative. If the ovulation calculator was correct, we should have a good chance of conceiving... I hope!

Both children were born healthy and I am healthy as well. Both pregnancies were achieved quickly and naturally without IVF etc. What are the chances of my becoming pregnant again at 46 without (or with if necessary IVF)? Has anyone out there had a baby at my age? Thanks.

About 100 000 people like me are on the waiting lists, and in Australia, only 132 children a year are available for adoption from children surrendered. It can be shortcut though if I know someone who agrees to surrender their child for adoption.
,Are you uncertain about your pregnancy? Have you a child you can't cope with? I'll let you keep your baby bonus if you just got pregnant to get that.(heard this often happens).
I just have had no luck with finding a husband, let alone one who wants children. I feel so empty and no amount of charity work, continuing education etc fills the gap. I need to be a mum.
Any ideas?
I am educated, mature aged,nearly out of time but I am time rich and can dedicate effort into the child's well being.

This is my first child. I am only 17 & I really don't know much about pregnancy & going into child birth. I only know what my family or doctor has told me. I am 37 wks & 4 days. Its to where I could easily go into labor anytime from now till my due date. I want to know how you can tell you are having contractions(labor pains) & when is the right time to go to the hospital. I'm excited(more less anxious) but yet scared in some way. I would really appreciate all the helpful tips & hints.

first of all i am 18, and all alone in my house, my parents are both gone on vacation, will be back in another month or so...so often times now i roam the house naked...and am not afraid to go out nude either...which i did when i went to throw the garbage away in my backyard, but today my 28 yr old neighbor was hiding behind my bbq grill, apparently from a fight with her b/f...so i brought her inside just so that no one sees her outside, and when i went to put on clothes she said not too, it makes her feel comfortable because she also wants to stay nude, and i mean i could not resist, and she was willing too...we kissed and caressed and made out for about an hour...no sex or anything, but my penis has touched her and we've squeezed each other's asses in the midst of the action....

anyways she is taking a shower right now and she asked me to join her in hopes of getting relaxed...kissing is fine but now i'm not sure about getting in the shower w/ her...

what should i do????????

been seeing someone for a little while now..... a really great guy.
It's a very new relationship-- about a month.
My trouble is trying to manage my feelings. I am a single mother-- my five year old son's dad died four years ago.
Having raised my son alone, I am not looking to date for fun, and i don't involve people I date with my son so that he doesn't become attatched and get confused.
This man I'm seeing is absolutely wonderful. He is the brother of a friend, and I already know his family. It's been a short time, but I have very strong feelings for him.....
He feels the same, and he cares about my son. (he has met him in group situations a few times.)
I can't help but wonder if it's abnormal to feel so strongly so soon?
I'm not normally like this-- I mean, of course, any new realtionship is fun and exciting in the beginning.... but this feels different.
Should I try to back off of this a little? Or is it possible to sort of 'know' that things are right this soon?
