She is my almost-stepdaughter, which means I have no jurisdiction over her and cannot make rules about her clothing...how can I gently convince her to cover up? And incidently, I'm not some prude gasping that her shorts are above her knee- I'm talking about two inches of bra (which is a lot on a 12yo) showing above her tank top, I'm talking about panty lace hanging out of her shorts.

Last month I found out I was pregnant.The doctor had an ultrasound done on me.I was supposed to be 8 weeks then according to when I had my last menstrual period.Then when the ultasound was performed they said they could only see the gestational sac and measured to be at 4 weeks.The doctor said then I might be miscarrying but I had been on birth control and recently stopped taking it, so she said it was possible ovulation was off and the pregnancy was detected early.So I was scheduled for another ultrasound 1week later to make sure everything was growing and they would see the yolk sac. Everything they needed to see was there.By this time I was starting to develop severe breast tenderness,fatigue, nausea. Another ultrasound was scheduled 2 weeks later to make sure there was a heart beat.Heart beat was there.But it was 85.2 wks later there was no heart beat.Dr.says I'm miscarrying. I told them I wanted blood work done.I'm waiting for results.Any ideas/opinions is appreciated.

i'm 17 weeks pregnant I have not yet been to the doctor because I have not yet received my medicaid. but I do take my Prenatal vitamins and iron pills that i got from the Health Department. I've had very little morning sickness, but i do feel sleepy alot. An d use the rest room frequently. And I think I can feel my baby move. This is my first pregnancy.

he's been going for a little over a year--everyday he gets hysterical when i drop him off for the past two weeks all of the sudden...i have a 6 month old as well...teachers say he has been negative nad hitting kids but my son tells me the kids are hitting him? he's showing signs of jealousy at home too..always saying i love you i love you to me and taking things away from the baby and blaming him for things that go wrong.

It's been 2 years since I gave birth to my son. I had 4 different tears in that area, and they healed very well over time. The problem is that I still find it uncomfortable when I am inimate with my husband (not really painful, just sore). I also find that I don't become "naturally lubricated" anymore since my son was born. I never had that problem before. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Just wondering how many other moms here used a baby diaper stacker in their homes?

When my first baby was born I received a diaper stacker from my mother as a baby shower gift, and I fell in love with it. It's the one that can be hung up inside a closet so diapers and things are always out of the way. Anyhow, I came across another one a few years ago at a garage sale in my neighbourhood and bought it. Today I keep cloth diapers inside on of them, and rubber pants and pins inside the other one.

What handy items they are.
